The process to get that money back is lengthy and cannot be completed until after your rental has been returned (in my case, 4 months). Every time I called this dealership, I would be transferred from person to person and told the right person would call. They never would. Somewhere throughout the process, this dealership lost my keys which further delayed me getting my car back. When I finally got my car back, it was covered in filth, which left stains and rust spots all over my car. My engine also got 30mpg prior to having my engine replaced and when I got it back, it was getting 10mpg. I was told by the service manager twice that this was completely normal and that I was exaggerating. He dismissed my concern even after I informed him that multiple shops around my town said a 65% decrease in mpg is abnormal. When I took my car back, I was told my air filter got dirty while sitting on their lot for months and they asked if I wanted it replaced. After telling me it was dirty from sitting on the lot while waiting to be serviced for four months, they then made my pay $43 for this. Now I am trying to get literally a single person to respond to me about the permanent rust and stains, and no one will reply or call me back. More

The service tech said it was based on 2 hours to install. I went out back and sat down as my Santa Cruz drove by me at 10:28. 11:16 the Santa Cruz was headed back to the pick up lane. I asked to see the invoice to see if I was charged for two hours when it only took 45 minutes. I questioned the service tech and he said they started working on it while we were talking. I admit I was xxxxx. Having to drive 2 hours round trip to the dealership, I will look elsewhere to have any more services done. There is clearly a lack of communication within the department. This was the third strike, First was me having to pay 7000 dollars shortage fee and in return I didn’t get any allowance for a shortage fee on my 2005 Toyota Tundra, Second strike was Hyundai revoked the extended service plan for six years back to 3 years. Third strike was being told I had to pay 187.25 up front to get the 4pin and have it installed. The dealership actually got 4 strikes when they charged me for two hours when it only took 48 minutes at most. Fifth strike I didn’t receive my 10% discount for any accessories I purchase for my new 2022 Santa Cruz. More
