This was the best car purchase experience I've ever had. Brian was the perfect gentleman and answered all of my questions from the perspective of providing me information versus pushing the sale. That part of the conversation wasn't even discussed until all of my questions were answered. There we no assumptions about what I could afford, which I sincerely appreciated it, taking the leap from a Nissan Altima to a Mercedes-Benz. Brian has since called to see if I had questions and ensured my service experience went well. It was also a great experience for my niece who witnessed the transaction and now knows how she should be treated when investing in a purchase. I plan to make Tysinger my home for future purchases and will continue to work with Brian as long as he's available. Thank you for providing the service I deserve. More
They are selling dreams at Tysinger Motors, Mercedes Benz. I have a salesman, Rick Smith, who was recommended to me by word of mouth. I call him whenever I have any questions, other than repair, that I have. He meets or exceedes all my needs and expectations whenever I talk to him. I had an old car and took it to car shows. I like going to car shows because you meet a lot of people and it is an excuse NOT TO GO TO WORK. I sold the car. I missed going to car shows so I started looking for another old car, like a C-2 Corvette, 65-67 GTO, and 1980’s SL. Because of my past experience with Rick and my service experience with Ladonna Staton, I decided on SL’s and started looking on the internet for 1980’s SL’s. I found a few in Naples, FL, Eastern Shore, VA and Delaware so I called Rick on 07/08/13 for his knowledge and advice about 1980 SL’s and cars that I had found. He spent a lot of time and answered all my questions so I was a better prepared buyer. He also told me, “Oh by” the way we are taking in a 1983 380 SL which is clean, two owner car, has 44,000 miles and has been serviced at Tysinger since 2005. So on 07/09/13, I met Rick to look at the car. The car had been serviced in the morning and was being detailed when I got there. I was only able to get a cursory look at the outside, inside and engine; however, I met John Tool who had serviced the car that morning and has serviced the car since 2005. He gave me a mechanical evaluation, and a report of frame, body interior and both tops. Since it was going to take at least another hour to finish the detailing, I made an appointment to see and drive the car the next day. But I was leaving following Rick’s purchasing advice about having car evaluated by the local Mercedes Benz dealer before I buy an old car. We when over to Rick’s office and talked about the car, told him my first impression and gave him a money offer based on driving and a closer inspection. That is when I met Mike Pishner, Sales Manager. He was great. He listened, told me the car was on consignment, and would talk to the owner. I also met another sales person who own an old SL and said the car that I was looking at was great shape. He and others were confirming an obvious outward condition of the car. On 07/10/13, I came back and drove the car with Rick. The hard top was off as I had asked Rick to do. We drove the car on the interstate; however, I was more interested in driving on the bumpy city roads ant 35 to 45 MPH. There were no rattles or shaking when we hit the bumps. About 2/3 of the way on our test drive, we stopped and put the top which was in perfect condition and confirmed John Tool’s report of the previous day. I brought my dream car and gave Rick a check for the agreed purchase price including a valet service charge. Now I can have days off on Saturdays to go what I call “Classic Car Cruising” with my PIC and can also to clean and polish every accessible square inch of the car. I paid a little bit over my budget, but I rationalized the additional money as paying for the Tysinger’s intangibles. The last antique car that I brought, the seller fell off the face of the Earth after I gave him my money, something my wife reminded me of. Tysinger has always been there for me and my family, something my wife also reminded me of. The valet charge is a no brainer. After a couple of trips to and from for service and the aggravation of being stuck in the morning or afternoon traffic, the convince of someone else doing that driving has more than made up for the valet service charge. The valet car gives me the patience of Job. If for some reason the repairs cannot be completed as for parts or for whatever reason, I tell the service department to take their time and do a good job. Since I have a valet car, I am not inconvenienced. I am happy. No one is rushing. No ill words are spoken, and I get a good job done on my car. You cannot put a dollar amount on peace of mind, a Tysinger intangible. After paid my money to Rick and was waiting for paperwork and receipt, Mike Burcher, Sales Manager, came over and talked about the 1983 380 SL. We talked about condition and history of the car. Again, it was a confirmation of great car and great value. I came back on 07/11/13 to pick up my shiny, new 1983 380 SL. Rick introduced me to Andy Trowbridge, Service Manager Blue Team. The Blue team was going to continue to do the repair because they have been doing the repairs since 2005, Mike Tool is on the Blue team and the Blue Team has the most experienced technicians to repair and service a 1983 380 SL. Rick showed me all the bells and whistles and I drove off into the sunset with my dream car. In my daily business life, we do business with people and built up a successful, long term business relationships with these people. I feel that I has built up the same relationship people at Tssinger (Ladona for service and Rick for all my other MB needs, including sales.) I like buying cars from Rick Smith because he listens, answers questions, follows my requests, takes care of all details, leaves nothing to chance and there are no last minute surprises. He has great presents and bearing. I like Rick Smith as a person. When I drove out of Tysinger Motors, I felt special. You would have thought that I brought the biggest S Class, AMG, no questions asked. That feeling is a Tysinger intangible. More

My salesperson, Jesse Giuseppe, was THEE BEST! He was attentive from the start to finish. I found my car online, I called him, and within 30 minutes or so he was sending me a text to say he had the car r attentive from the start to finish. I found my car online, I called him, and within 30 minutes or so he was sending me a text to say he had the car ready for me to test drive and sent me a picture of it sitting ready to go! I felt like VIP! When I arrived he had a 'reserved for' sign on the car with my name, AND to top it off it was my birthday and he found a nice red bow to put on top of my car and took my picture. Definitely a memory I will have forever! Tysinger has gained a customer for life AND free advertisement (word of mouth). Bobby Walters also was very informative and HONEST which is a lot to say of a business manager in a dealership. He was very professional and I felt like I was in good hands. Paul came in for a brief moment, but since he is Jesse's manager he should get a kudos as well :) More

I took my 2009 Smart in for service and as always it was an amazing experience. Brett Whitney is my service manager. It is rare to find a person that is that knowledgeable and friendly. Always top notch service. There is no average at Tysinger, it has always been my experience they always go above and beyond. Kevin White was the tech that worked on my Smart. He is always careful and clean when it comes to his work, which is important. The car feels like a new vehicle after Kevin has done his magic. I always feel confident when I see his name on my service ticket. It is an odd thing to say, but I look forward to talking my car in for service because the experience is always positive and convenient. This dealership knows World Class Customer Service and the best part is it feels like family. You just keep setting the bar higher and higher. THANK YOU TYSINGER ~~~~~~~~~~ My only suggestion that would take this amazing experience over the top even further is to clean and detail the car so it looks like new when the work is done. I had some break work done and the rims needed cleaning afterwards. Wouldn't have taken more than a few minutes to wipe them down so they looked like new again. Not a big deal at all, but it was the only thing that slightly detracted from my experience. More
