There was no pressure. I think if we wanted to drive every car on the lot, Brian would have gotten us the keys. Matt helped set everything up and has offered tutorials at any time. I just got back from a deployment and needed a car to replace my old one. I checked out the rating Tysinger had after I googled car dealerships in my area and saw it had a fairly high standing. I went in expecting to get hassled and start arguing with the dealer for a car, but I got a guy who was professional the entire time and made his best effort to cater to my needs and answer any questions I had. Mr. Sears made sure I wasn't getting screwed out of my money, showed me the Carfax of the car I wished to purchase without me having to ask for them, and essentially just made sure I knew what I was signing and getting into before he made me sign anything. If you need a decent used car, I would at the very least recommend Mr. Sears. More

Jarrel and Thomas were amazing and stayed late on Saturday to ensure that we were able to get the vehicle we really wanted. I was personally referred to this dealersip by a few people i know and let me just reflect on my experience. First of all the quality of cars on the lot is great! I felt as though I was stereotyped. First I went in to speak to Mr. Jamison and it was as though he didnt have time for me. He kept me waiting for hours and then passed me off to another associate (Hadrian who was helpful in some ways) i was trying to make a purchase of a GL 450 2010. I requested that i get the car for 38 they said no 40 they went down about 20 dollars on the price which was a complete insult. I asked if i could posisbly get one free service since it had not been serviced since 40k miles Mr. Jamison told me NO "we dont do that here at mercedes benz" i explained to him that the person who referred me there had gotten a similar deal and he acted like he didnt know what i was talking about. Hadrian told me they would contact me on Saturday to let me know if they accepted my offer of 38k for the car. I had to contact him on monday for an answer which he said was NO! so i finally make the purchase yesterday and i had a friend inquire about the vehicle as well. Well they sold me the vehilcle for 39800 and told her a price of 38200 and listed it online as such right after i left the dealership!!! BADDDDD BUSINESS.!! The horrible part of it all is that i am recent breast cancer survivor and this new car was a gift to myself. My treatments wouldnt allow me to travel for a better price. I feel extremely slighted by this dealership! To add insult to injury: After I had someone else inquire into the price of the vehicle the same day I did and they were given the price of 38,200 the sales manager called me back to state that the price listed on the internet was a "data entry error" and that they meant to add 8 thousand to the price in hopes to deter people from purchasing the vehicle but instead of putting 48 they put 38 well that is one heck of a mistake because the price online was 40,280 it was changed to 38,272. Doesnt seem like a data entry error to me. I feel taken advantage of More
My Lease deal with Tysinger went so smooth i didnt even realize i was done with everything, then i was handed the keys to my new car. Matt Davis was the perfect example of a salesman; knowledgeable, informative, HONEST, and didnt try to hide any info or put me in a car i didnt want. The entire experience was enjoyable. i would and have reccomended Tysinger to many of my friends, and they ultimately ended up buying from Tysinger when no other dealership could come close to the price and customer service. All the associates and the Sales Manager were very helpful. I was given a demostration of all my vehicles features and they even scheduled my first oil change for me before i left the dealership. I have not found this level or service at any dealership in the Hampton Roads area. More
I had previously purchased a Hyundai Elantra from the dealership and was very pleased with the deal I got, the professionalism of all personnel and the exceptional service I had received. My Elantra was recently totalled in an accident and the other driver's insurance company would not provide enough funds to pay outright for a newer vehicle. The Elantra was paid off, hence I did NOT want a car payment. I went to the dealership and spoke with Chris Reynolds in the service department. He has been my service advisor for several years now. I asked him which salesman he would recommend to work with and he suggested Mitch Sears. I told Mitch I needed a reliable used car at a price low enough that I would be able to pay for the vehicle in full using the insurance settlement I received and a minimal amount out of pocket. Of all the dealerships I visited, Mitch was the ONLY salesman who REALLY LISTENED to my needs and understood when I said "I don't want a car payment"! He researched his inventory and emailed several vehicles that would meet my needs, desires and funds dilemma. The certified used vehicle I purchased has exceeded my expectations. The service I received from Mitch Sears and all the other professionals at Tysinger Motors has been exceptional. It is never fun to have to replace a vehicle as the result of an accident, but Mitch and Tysinger helped to make it less painful. I got a great deal on a reliable vehicle! I look forward to maintaining my vehicle at Tysinger's Service Department. I would highly recommend Tysinger Motors without reservation. More
Oh My...Just a First Class Stellar experience from the very beginning and has continued on with Sam my advisor still following up with me. I am from out of state and my first inquiry by internet with Sam Wali was impressive. He followed up with me immediately by text and over the phone. He talked to me about the car and made me feel confident that it was the car for me. He was very professional, knowledgeable, personable and diligent throughout the process.Purchasing a car from Tysinger Motors, Sam Wali and the Team there Shak and Parker was by far the easiest and best red carpet experience I've had yet. I didn't know them and they didn't know me but in 4 days I became a proud and blessed owner of a E 350 Mercedes-Benz and met a Team at Tysinger that genuinely cared, I got the best car for me at the best price. Matt took his time, was patient, informative, seemed honest from what I could see and, most importantly, asked me questions! I honestly did not feel like I needed to look anywhere or do business with anyone else after my experience with Matt at Tysinger. I initially went in for a 2009 Jeep Commander, as I am usually a truck person, but I soon realized that not only are trucks more expensive but we factored in the gas as well. The Jeep had 84,000 miles and was priced at 80,000. My pearl grey Sonata had 32,000 miles at the time of purchase, is a 2012, in awesome condition and was 15,200 before gap insurance and warranty. Although a new graduate with an even newer job, I was offered a fair rate and in a quick amount of time. Since March, I have taken my car back for service and my oil change, after an in-house coupon was $22! That is cheaper than any Jiffy Lube or service shop I have been to! One more thing that has made doing business with Tysinger an enjoyable experience! I am Very pleased with Matt, Tysinger and my newer Sonata!! Thank You!! More
