I bought my Hyundai Santa Fe from Tysinger Hyundai in August of 2013. My experience was phenominal. I knew I wanted the Santa Fe and I knew what I wanted to pay. I walked in and was lucky that Mitch Sear August of 2013. My experience was phenominal. I knew I wanted the Santa Fe and I knew what I wanted to pay. I walked in and was lucky that Mitch Sears was the one to help me. My husband was deployed when I was shopping for a new car and I had no other choice, but to bring my 2 year old with me. Mitch was very quick and to the point and respectful of my time. He worked within my crazy scheduled and delivered excellent customer service. A few months after my husband returned from deployment, we decided to replace his truck. He knew he wanted a Toyota Tacoma, so we began searching in the area. After we couldnt find what he was looking for I thought I would see if Mitch happened to have anything. I didnt think to call because we didnt see a Tacoma on their lot and Toyota's werent within Tysinger brands. Mitch remembered exactly who I was when I called and luckily. He said he would speak with his used cars manager and give me a call back. Mitch called a few hours later and they had taken in a Tacoma that day! We were in luck! We came by to see it while it was still being inspected and it was exactly what my husband was looking for! Again, Mitch gave us a great price and was respectful of our time. We got a great truck for a great deal. He even called us to check in after both vehicle purchases. We could not give higher marks to Tysinger or Mitch Sears! More
I love the "Tysinger Mercedes" experience. The staff at Tysinger Motors is "second to none" in the world. This is our "fifth" Mercedes at Tysinger motors and it just keeps getting better. We definitely have had the "five star" experience when it comes to buying a car at Tysinger. The personnel working there is exceptionally knowledgeable and courteous. When it comes to problem solving there is none better than the staff at Tysinger motors...period!!! Keth Mc Cullers and Mike Pishner is the "dream team" when it comes to solving problems. All it took was one phone call and they took the ball and ran it into the "end zone" for a touchdown!!! When it comes to being knowledgeable about any item on a Mercedes "Jerome Boyd's" the man with the plan. I think he "sleeps" with the manuals on every car in the building...he can tell you the "specs" on anything. At the end of the day when you're finished you want someone with experience giving you the "numbers" on your vehicle there's no one better anywhere than Miles Burcher and Kim Shourds. They are exceptionally qualified to provide you with the right information concerning the cost of your vehicle and also while providing you with exceptional insight concerning the "amenities" you will need to ensure you have the best protection IN THE WORLD. After my initial visit to the dealership I was impressed with the sales executive, and the quality of inventory available. I felt no pressure and was treated very respectfully. I was unsure about the purchase and was not pressured at all. I specifically bought from Tysinger because the customer service was impeccable. Obviously the vehicle was a good deal as well. From start to finish it was an easy process and I feel very confident in my purchase. I would recommend this dealership and give it my highest marks. As a young woman car shopping with my sister, I was apprehensive about how we would be treated. I am happy to say I was not talked down to or taken advantage of like sometimes happens when dealing with anything automotive. Also, I was given a tour of the maintenance department and I saw first hand how the state of the art indoor bay maintains the vehicles after purchase. That gave me additional confidence in my purchase and with the people at Tysinger. After my wonderful experience, I will never go anywhere else. PS Ed Burrows was fantastic and I will continue to work with him on all my future car purchases!!! More

I recently visited Tysinger with my parents to assist them in purchasing a new Elantra. Having personally purchased an Elantra for myself earlier this year, choosing Tysinger once again was the only opti them in purchasing a new Elantra. My previous certified advisor,Jesse (who now works on the Audi side) hand picked Mitch Sears to handle my parents needs. After having such a wonderful and hassle-free experience previously, I had doubts that my encounter could have been surpassed. For once I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong!!! Mitch Sears is above and beyond any advisor I have ever encountered in my many automotive purchased over the years. Friendly, courteous and honest are just few words I can think of to describe Mitch. He truly does go above and beyond for his customers. If you have the privilege of conducting business with Tysinger, Mitch is the advisor you must have on your team. Bobby Walters was the sales manager that crunched the numbers and made my parents an offer they could not refuse. I have been a Hyundai Genesis R Spec owner for the past year. I have been completely blown away by the new car sales service I received from Jonathan Hunt and Matt Davis. I met Matt at the 2013 Hampton R year. I have been completely blown away by the new car sales service I received from Jonathan Hunt and Matt Davis. I met Matt at the 2013 Hampton Roads Auto Dealers Assn car show last January. I was driving a 2011 BMW 550i which I thought was my perfect car. However, when he convincingly persuaded me to test drive the Genesis R Spec on my way home from the auto show, I was immediately convinced that Hyundai had developed a comparable performance sports sedan that not only met all of the handling and performance parameters that had attracted me to the BMW 550i, but the R Spec suspension was better and, more importantly, the price was $25,000 lower than the 550i. Needless to say, I wanted out of my BMW loan and into a new Genesis R Spec lease as soon as possible. Matt's outstanding sales experience as a former BMW salesman, and his exceptional customer relations skills eased me into the transition to Hyundai. Matt working together with Jonathan Hunt, the new Hyundai sales manager, and Paul Westcott, the used car manager, resulted in an incredibly generous deal on the trade in on the 550i and the lease for the new R Spec. My wife and I could not have been happier with the genuinely warm, friendly and helpful attitudes of everyone we met at Tysinger Motors. Now skip forward one year to January 2014. Since I am a compulsive, obsessive new car guy, I have decided that the R Spec performance sedan was too tame for my sports car urges. I have looked at the BMW M3/M4, Mercedes C63 AMG, Corvette Stingray and Audi RS5 as all comparably priced, performance sports cars. The Audi RS5 won the contest because it has the best of all the sports car assets, is a "practical" every day driver, and it has the luxury features and materials available in this class with comparable cost. To my good fortune, Tysinger Motors has just opened their new Audi dealership adjacent to their Hyundai and Mercedes showrooms. Once again, Matt carefully and patiently led me through all the pros and cons of getting out of my R Spec lease early and into a new RS5 to take advantage of the best possible trade in values and Audi sales incentives. Matt partnered with Brian Tate, the Audi Sales Manager, and Paul Westcott again to build me the best possible trade in and new car lease package that I could have imagined. I know what a great deal I have because I have shopped the other Audi dealers in my area and no one came close to the offer I received at Tysinger. And do you know why they had the best deal? Because of their drive to not only treat their customers better than they have ever been treated by a car dealership before (i.e. friendly, helpful, no pressure, good listeners to learn what you want and expect...), but they are committed to keeping their customers in the Tysinger family! Thank you Matt, Jonathan, Paul and Brian for making us so happy with our car buying experience with your family. More
Even though I did not go for another Sonata in the end I just had to write a review of Mitch. My dad and I showed up at his dealership probable about and hour an half before closing time. He was helping someone back their car up so when he was done he asked if he could help us. I told him I just wanted to sit in the baseline 2014 Sonata. I own a 2005 now and just want to see the new one. He is the Best salesman I ever dealt with and my dad agrees. He was not your typical pushy car salesman at all! He showed me what I came for and explained the car in depth - especially everything under the hood. His knowledge of under the hood and items he mentioned in the car was impeccable and really made me think and I had already did my research on the Sonata and was impressed; not to mention already owning one. When I got home he had already sent an email with what my dad asked him to do. The next day I stopped again to sit in one and ask him few questions; he was not expecting me but assisted me right away. He was going to be one leave after that day but come back if I decide on the Sonata; again not pushy at all, very respectful. I asked if I don't buy till tomorrow would he still get credit since he wouldn't be here; he said maybe only half. That afternoon he left me a voice mail and followed up with an email on exactly who I needed to talk to if I came back tomorrow and the man he wanted me to do my financing with because he could explain in depth to me all the paperwork. I was extremely impressed that he went out of his way to follow-up with me and that he was leaving me in great hands if I needed anything. This says a lot about Mitch as a man especially since he was going to be on leave and there wasn't much in it for him if the sale went through. The third day when he was already suppose to be gone he dropped by his office just to tie up some loose ends and took the time to call me and see if I needed or decided anything and to confirm I got his message on who to talk to. He was still very pleasant and professional when I told him unfortunately I decided on a different model. He asked if I minded him asking what was the deciding factor. I answered it had nothing to do with him, he was the best, nor Tysinger because I loved their service department, it just came down to what I needed in size of the back seat for passengers and that is why I didn't even call him back to haggle about his first price quote (which was great by the way). I told him I would remember him if I wanted or someone else wanted Hyundai though. Again if your looking for a hyundai and a salesperson that is great and extremely knowledgeable of his product (he sounds like a service tech sometimes he knows so much- which is refreshing) call Mitch! More
