My husband has had a previous positive experience at Tysinger so we decided to begin our journey there, also due to the several recommendations from fellow Air Force wives. We did not plan on buying a vehicle that day, just looking to see our options. We met with Mr. Francis and felt immediately at ease. As soon as we arrived he already knew which vehicles to show us and not once tried to show us something out of our price range or selected style. This is the first time I have gone to a dealer and have not had an attempted "upsale." Lloyd sat with us after we decided on a Dodge Journey which has exactly everything we wanted. We decided to take the plunge and make the purchase due to the amazing customer service and fantastic price that Lloyd was able to work out for us. When the buying process began to be longer than my husband and I prepared for, the entire team, Lloyd and Thomas Duckwall (from finance), were more than willing to put a halt on the process to let us get to an important OB appointment, and come back to finalize and even let us drive the vehicle to the appointment to get a better feel of the way it handles. When we returned, Mr. Duckwall had all the paperwork in order and was GREAT about explaining everything from financing to warranty info, and was very funny as well which something that my husband and I definitely appreciated after such a long day. Our entire experience at Tysinger from the time we first shook hands with Mr. Francis until we shook hands goodbye with Mr. Duckwall, was top notch.Mr. Francis even hand delivered the vehicle to us at our convenience, replaced the key fob batteries (and even gave us an extra couple) and made sure the vehicle was detailed from top to bottom. I would definitely recommend Tysinger to any and everyone looking for a vehicle in the Hampton Roads area. More

Worth the drive! I had been in the market for a new vehicle for about six months. I had done so much research on so many cars, and been disappointed too many times by I had been in the market for a new vehicle for about six months. I had done so much research on so many cars, and been disappointed too many times by wasting time at the dealerships only to be unhappy with the out the door price. I found Mitch online in Georgia and spoke with him on the phone. He answered every question I had in extensive detail and was extremely honest and helpful. He gave me an out the door price over the phone that I was happy with but thought was too good to be true. The next week, I did the test drive and completed all the paperwork and made it out the door with the exact price he had promised. I couldn't believe it! He walked me through the maintenance dept and the finance issues with ease and made me feel very comfortable. Couldn't have been a better experience! Thank you! More

We explained that we needed a 4 wheel drive small SUV for our daughter that was going to be working in snow country next year. He listened and found a vehicle that was within her budget and met her needs. We have had a few service issues with the vehicle and he has been very responsive in coordinating the repairs. It was my first time at Tysinger Mercedes and I did not have the slightest idea on what type of customer service to expect. I took my vehicle in for a number of warranty and dealership related issues. Derrick within a matter of seconds put my apprehension and concerns to rest. His "can do" and "will do" mentality was very refreshing and well balanced. It did not matter what type of issue, how big or small, Derrick promised me that he would go above and beyond to fulfill my expectations and live up to the Mercedes Benz customer service standard. He did just that and then much more... I picked up my GL 450 two days ago and Derrick and his Orange team did a fantastic job on my vehicle. They very easily met and surpassed my expectations of a Mercedes Benz service experience. This is my fourth Mercedes Benz and there is a definite reason why I insist on Mercedes Benz vehicles. 2013 Hyundai Hybrid Limited I went in on 18APR14, for service on my 2011 Sonata Hybrid, and to meet with Mitch Sears about the 2014 Sonata hybrid base model. While there he showed me the difference between the '13 limited and the '14 base. The price that he quoted me for the two was very close, only about $1000 difference. While there for a decent amount of time, I decided to leave and come back the next day. On 19APR14, I came back at around 3 and we sat down. Four hours later I pulled off the lot with a 2013 limited for less than I played for my 2011. He was super attentive, and looked after me and my father while we were there. I have been here twice for two previous cars and will have no problem going back. If you are looking for a salesman that you can trust and will be shoot straight with you, all you have to do is talk to Mike. More
