My wife and I were in the market for 2012 Mustang GT. I started doing some homework on the prices for different packages (etc) on TrueCar.com. We finally settled on the package we wanted and I speced it out. Within 30 minutes of sending in the info (which truecar users know goes to 3 dealers) Yolanda was on the phone calling me. We talked about the car and the process for maybe 10 minutes and I had my car on order. It was THAT easy. When we came in for the actual sale of the car, Yolanda was extremely professional and friendly (everybody at the dealership was) and the process went very smoothly there as well. There were no bad surprises, and I even got a more then fair trade on my 10 year old Grand Marquis. For the first time in my life I actually ENJOYED buying a car. Oh, before I forget, they were even able to help me get a much lower interest rate than I thought I would be able to get. At no time through this did I feel pressured, cheated, anxious-none of the usual feelings a person gets when sitting in a new car dealership. I live 80 miles away in New Bern, and I just may bring the car back there for its service, too, just so I have an excuse to see these people again. Its a shame that the dealership is hidden away in a small town off I-95 in NC. I had been through that area many many times on my way to Raliegh from New Bern and had never heard of them before I began this process. The "go to the dealer and shop first" crowd will likely never find them. Needless to say any time I buy a Ford from now on they will be my "go to" that's for sure! More
Last week I decided it was time to replace a 2003 Ford Escape with over 200,000 miles. I was not looking forward to this because I don't enjoy the whole car buying experience. To avoid some of that hassle, I went online and sent out some requests for quotes. Jackie Dickens and Classic Ford were the first to respond. One of the larger dealerships has still not responded. On Friday night, I walked into a big dealership in my area. It was very intimidating and somewhat unpleasant. They found me basicly what I wanted, gave me a price and I was on my way. I stopped at the mall and gave Jackie a call. I told her exactly what I wanted and informed her that I had looked at one earlier. Before I could get home, I had received and email from her telling me that she had what I wanted and could match the price of the other vehicle. When I called her the next morning, she sent my an email with a price and the sticker off of the exact car that I wanted. I decided to go buy a new Escape. When I arrived at the dealership, my new vehicle was sitting out front. I got out to go inside, dreading the onslaught of salespeople I knew were going to converge on me. It did not happen. A gentleman greeted me, held the door open and asked who I had come to see and escorted me to see Jackie. I had good feeling about her immediately. We talked a bit of business and the management staff went out a evaluated my trade. I was not expecting much and had someone coming to take it home. To my surprise, Classic's management actually give me the number I has wanting. So then it was time for the paperwork. I had a question about something and the manager was there promptly to explain it to me. The gentleman in finance (wish I could remember his name) gave me a printout of all the option in Ford packages and monthly prices with the interest rate. This is important to me, I like to see numbers. He explained every detail to me about the things I was interested in and did not pressure me to buy anything else. After signing my name multiple times, the vehicle was mine. Jackie put a full tank of fuel in it and I was on my way to a Christmas party that I wanted to be on time for. There is not a lot of glitz and glamour in this dealership, no TV cameras and no massive indoor showroom. I am not at all bother by this. There were not 10 men sitting around waiting to pounce on the next person walking through the door. There were two WOMEN in this dealership and that is a great thing. In the last four days, I have refered three people to this dealership and Jackie. I hope they will purchase from her. I know they will have the same experience I had. I am a true fan of Ford vehicles and I hope I will get the same service out of this one that I got out of the last one, but when the time comes for another purchase, I will return to Classic Ford. In my opinion, these are TRUE professionals in a business not really known for professionalism. Kathy Humphries More
First and foremost I want to say that dealing with Jamil was as pleasant as it gets.... We all know that going to a dealer to buy a car is very unpleasant. However, giving jackie the inside scoop to what my was as pleasant as it gets.... We all know that going to a dealer to buy a car is very unpleasant. However, giving jackie the inside scoop to what my wife was looking for helped out. You see my wife wanted a GMC Arcadia. I however thought that the new Explorer would be a better fit for not only her but for our family. Jamil met up with us and gave us a five star treatment. There was a very good vib that we were getting and were extremely comfortable in dealing with Jamil. He made use feel like we had know each other for years. His knowledge was incredible. But what made a even bigger impact on our decision was the fact that he listened to what we wanted and then delivered! No, we did not take delivery of our NEW Explorer yet cause Jamil went extra steps along with his team to find the Explorer that we really wanted with all the bells and jells that WE wanted. Jamil didnt try to push something that we DIDNT want onto us. I commend him for a job well done. Now, If you want to learn how to sale a NEW car you need to meet the team at Classic! Talk about service. Jamil was great. Thank him for setting my family up with an awesome deal and Explorer!!! Thanks Jamil!!! More
Jackie spoke with me on the phone initially and told me your dealership had a few Ford Rangers on the lot and that my driving the hour to get there would be worth it. I told her I was going to buy a Truck today and that i was going to Dunn/Benson Ford first then i would come see her. My wife & I arrived @ dealership @ 2:30pm She was busy with another customer and told us someone else would assist us, Yolanda helped us for a couple of hours before she had to leave then Jackie took over. Yolanda was great, very friendly & personable we had fun with her. Jackie was nice but seemed a little unsure of herself. There was alot of confusion between Jackie, the finance mgr, and us regarding what vehicle we we're interested in purchasing, but it got worked out to our satisfaction, however we didn't leave the dealership until almost 7:00pm which was way to0 long for purchasing a new auto!!!! On our way home the cruise control didn't work and when I came back the next day to let Jeff know about it, he got a mechanic to take a look at it and knew I had to be to work, the mechanic said it was working perfectly even though he didn't drive the truck! Yolanda saw me and had asked me if Jackie had gone over everything about the truck because i had questions about the sirius radio, Jackie didn't tell me anything about it or did she ask if we had any questions. Jeff & Yolanda let me use a loaner vehicle because a part had to be ordered for the cruise control. I get to pick up my New Truck again on friday! We will be looking to purchasing another vechicle in about 6-12 month's but not 100% sure if it will be from here or not,whoever gives us the BEST DEAL. Tim & Tammy Meyer More

I used truecar.com and found this dealer. They didn't have the car I wanted, but they did a good job of finding it and allowing me to use a dealer car in the interim. They were straight shooters, really have the car I wanted, but they did a good job of finding it and allowing me to use a dealer car in the interim. The experience at Classic Ford was by far our best experience in purchasing a new car. We had not purchased a new car in quite a while partially due to the "hassle" of dealing with salespeople when y experience in purchasing a new car. Our experience in dealing with Yolanda was awesome from start to finish. She listened to our needs and without being pushy gave information so that we could make an informed decision. Yolanda was quick to respond to all questions that were asked and truely made this experience a pleasant one. She even helped us to surprise our son with the car. Mr. Allen was also very accomodating when our "surprise" for our son needed to be moved up a day. Both of these individuals realized how important it was to us that our son see his new car at the dealership and be surprised. They helped us put a sign on it and even provided balloons. It made for a day that our son will never forget. More
