From the beginning, Jamil was adamant about looking for a car that checked all of my boxes. He found me the perfect car and stayed within my budget. When I went to sign all my paperwork, the person who helped me was so great and explained everything to me. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a car, as the team here did not stop until they found exactly what I was looking for. More

Forget about you once the sale is made. I was very impressed with the process before I made my purchase. The associates were helpful and willing to get back to me whenever I had a question a I was very impressed with the process before I made my purchase. The associates were helpful and willing to get back to me whenever I had a question about my 2017 Raptor before I made the trip to pick it up. The vehicle was waiting for me upon arrival, and multiple representatives were there to greet me. The associate who was assigned to me, Servando, was very knowledgeable. Once the paperwork was signed and I left the dealership, however, the dealership seemed to completely lose interest in me. Jamil Stanton, the New Car Manager, is the worst offender. He is a true sales person, 0 actual customer service. Prior to the sale, he was very responsive, and seemed to actually care. He was very charismatic and made many promises to strive for "nothing but the best in customer service". Once I left the dealership, he stopped responding to all phone calls or emails. I called his number and it would get an immediate voicemail, which I knew was him dropping the calls when he saw my number. The issues I was, and am still having, are not simple complaints. The main issue I was trying to get resolved is my title and registration. The DMV does not have the vehicle in their system yet, and my dealer tag has expired. So essentially, I am driving a non-registered vehicle to no fault of my own. I have been to the DMV 3 times to check on the status. I have been trying to get this remedied and get an extension on the dealer tag, and he refuses to return any phone calls. The other big issue was that I wanted to cancel the third party EasyCare extended warranty which I was pressured into. Jamil and the Finance Manager, Daniel Scarlett stated that Classic Ford of Smithfield provided plans from the third party company rather than the Ford ESP plans because it was better. Once I did research (research I should have done before hand) I decided to cancel the EasyCare extended warranty so that I could purchase the Ford ESP Premium Manufacturer Extended Warranty. I had to call multiple times to get a response. I received no notice that the transaction had been canceled for me, and my emails are not being returned to get confirmation. Servando Ramirez, my sales associate, has been the only person to get back to me and is the one that told me Daniel canceled the EasyCare plan for me. Why Daniel will not tell me himself, I do not know. Jamil also offered to get a rock chip in my paint taken care of for me. After getting an estimate from a third party auto-body shop (he requested for me to not go to a Ford dealership), he has yet to actually follow through. It seems like he makes a lot of promises to make someone happy, but in the end he does not actually act. Remember, this was HIS idea to take care of it. Actions speak much louder than words. After paying a Dealer Markup on a $70,000 vehicle, I would think they would treat me with a little more respect. The ONLY saving grace is Servando, who calls me once a week or so to let me know about additional features such as Ford Pass, and to ask if Jamil or Daniel have gotten back to me yet. It is sad that he has to work with managers who make him look bad, as I know he can only do so much with them above him. I have purposely held off on writing such a negative review since I made my purchase on 1/25/17, hoping that my concerns would be addressed. More

Time Well Spent We saw a White 2010 Ford Edge Limited listed on Classic Ford's site (from a Google search) that was of interest to us, and with our trade in it looked We saw a White 2010 Ford Edge Limited listed on Classic Ford's site (from a Google search) that was of interest to us, and with our trade in it looked like it might fit our budget. Only problem was we are in Raleigh and the Dealership was in Smithfield. Then we learned that the vehicle was actually at a Dealership just inside SC just South of Charlotte. (One of their network dealers) So I planned a trip to Smithfield to see if I could work out the numbers on that vehicle, because I was very familiar with it and I did not actually need to see it yet. As it turned out, Classic had it on their lot the next day when I visited and met Jacqueline our sales rep. Did the test drive and then worked with Jackie to get the numbers right. . . . and she did, so I bought the vehicle. Everyone from the initial phone call on through the final paperwork were great, and the vehicle is super too! Not to mention at a great price too! All in all it was a pleasant transaction with virtually no hassles. More
