It was our intention to begin the researching process so we would know what we wanted when we were to purchase a car in May. I wanted a KIA because of the 100,000 mile warranty. We never did test drive one but I did like the looks and it was in our price range. My husband, being gun shy of foreign vehicles, said we should look at the Fords. We had not seen much for Ford SUV’s on the road but knew Ford had NOT taken a buyout. Again, we were ONLY looking and had no intentions of buying yesterday. When we purchased our BMW-Z4 six years ago it was because we stopped to look at the Audi’s which we really wanted but they would NOT let us test drive that car so we drove down the street and purchased a BMW. Audi lost the sale because they would not work with us. There were only three things we demanded in a vehicle: V6 engine, white in color, and leather seats. J.R. Honeycutt met us while we looked at the vehicle we purchased. We had a couple questions which he was not sure about so he immediately got Stanley to answer those questions. The guys were great and JR did not pressure us at all to look at something more expensive or sway our decision. This car has much more than we wanted but it was immediately available (again, we did not need it until May). Your people worked with us to get us a deal we could live with. Also, because we were only running errands we had to get home to let our dog out as we already had been gone longer than we should have. Since my husband had driven the car and I had not, Classic Ford let me drive the car back to Chapin so we could let the dog out and give me the opportunity to test drive it. We could have still backed out of purchasing this vehicle but our final decision was based on JR’s professional handling of the sale (without pressure) and the other guys working with us to make the deal work. In processing the final paperwork Addie Mack was very good about explaining items on the sales agreement. When we realized JR would not get his full commission if we went back this morning we decided to wrap up the deal last night. He deserves every penny he earns as he was a pleasure to work with. Today is JR’s day off and he has already called us this morning to make sure any other questions we might have were answered. Although we keep our vehicles for a long time and it’s been many years since anyone in our families have owned a Ford, our experience at Classic Ford just may change our views of ever purchasing any other vehicle. JR was a pleasure to work with and we hope he has a long career with Classic Ford. Thank you for all your help and we look forward to enjoying our new vehicle. When AJ called us back my wife and I were on the way to the dealership because she had not seen the car yet. As we were on the way AJ called and ask me when we could come by with my check stubs & proof of residency. Little did he know we were on the way to the dealership after viewing another Mini in Charlotte that the dealer failed to tell us had been wreck. My wife and I went to look at a used F-250 diesel. The lady asked how she could help us and I replied that we were there to see Sylvester Peoples. She called for him to come to the front. Another sales person came to the front and introduced himself and told us that Sylvester was in his office with another client and intoduced us to Victor Dozier. Vic was very polite and took us to his office and I explained was I was looking for. He went to the website and the truck we originally were going to look at was no longer listed so we looked at some of the other vehilces in the same category. We found one that looked promising and Vic got the keys for it so we could look it over and then took it for a test drive. The truck was exceptional in every way and surpassed my requirements. The price was reasonable as I had been researching these vehicles on the internet and I knew what range it should fall into. Vic then took us to the service department and introduced us to a service writer by the name of Mickey. She was pleasant and welcomed us to Classic Ford. We were told if we had any problems or needed regular service, we just needed to drive into the bay and we would be taken care of. Our experience with Classic Ford of Columbia and their staff was very enjoyable and comfortable. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to their store and I would recommend any of the staff that we had dealings with to anyone. Thank you for your patience, time and help in finding our truck. More
The buying experience that I had at Classic Ford is the best I have had. I am a long time Ford Customer, this is my 5th Ford Vehicle but the service that I have received at Classic Ford tops it all. From the moment I met my salesman AJ Murray he welcomed me to the showroom, found the vehicle I was interested in, gave me all of the information on the features and is the first salesman to open the hood so I could take a look. As a female I really appreciated this, usually I have to ask for the hood to be open. We took a test drive and then it was back to the showroom to begin the paperwork. AJ Murray never put any pressure on me to purchase a vehicle but he did everything to make me want to leave the showroom with the vehicle. When I met with Addy Mack in finance the great service continued. He also took the time to explain everything to me on the contract and even went over my credit score with me. Because of what AJ Murray and Addy Mack did to make me feel like a well respected Ford customer will keep me a Ford customer for years to come. I was proud to drive off the lot with my new 2011 Ford Focus SEL. I have told all my friends who are looking to purchase a vehicle to go to Classic Ford and ask for Salesman AJ Murray and when it comes to finance you can't go wrong with Addy Mack. More

As soon as I stepped out of my car, I was greeted with a smile and a "hello". I met Larry & immediately felt like we had been friends forever. He provided me with information concerning the vehicles I was trading in and presented everything in a very professional manner. Your dealership is blessed to have him on staff. I had purchased two vehicles when the dealership was owned by Bob Bennett, so this was my first experience buying since it changed hands. I was so pleased to discover the same level of professionalism on all levels. After the decision was made to purchase the Fiesta, we were greeted with, yet, another sincerely friendly face - that of Addie Mack who worked in the finance department. Another "WOW"!! We could NOT have been in any better hands than these two guys! I WILL be spreading the word & encouraging my friends/family to visit Classic Ford before purchasing from any other dealership.
