Prior to going to Classic Ford of Columbia, SC, my husband had called them about a 2011 Taurus they had on the lot. When we got there, she introduced us to Leland "Jay" Bonnette who would be our sales person. I'm sure all of their sales people are great, but if you have a choice, I would highly recommend asking for Jay. He is totally down to earth, no high pressure sales pitches, able to answer all of our questions, worked up several different scenarios for us, handled the majority of the paperwork before sending us to the finance office, gave us a crash course in how to use SYNC, etc. all with a very patient attitude. You could tell he truly wanted to help us as best he could. The finance manager that we dealt with was equally as nice and knowledgeable. He worked with us to find the best warranty options, etc. for our needs. One of the owners of the dealership also spoke to us - once while we were in the process of purchasing the car to make sure all of our needs were being met and then right before we drove it off of the lot to thank us for our business. We couldn't have asked for a better experience buying a new car. I highly recommend Classic Ford to anyone who's looking to buy a new car. More

I recently purchased a Lincoln MKX. Colette was very helpful from the time we walked onto the Classic Ford Lincoln lot to look at cars. I visited several dealers over the last two weeks. Two of the dealerships were horrible experiences being passed off and pushed around in to trying to take something off the lot that I didn't want. Colette treated me very well, we went on a test drive and she made sure that I was informed about all the intricacies of the vehicle. We arrived back and started reviewing the price. I knew that 2011's had much better incentives, we found out that the truck I test drove was a 2012. She immediately searched her inventory to find the 2011's that she had left, we looked them over, and I decided that they were not what I wanted, they didn't have the features or the color that I was looking for. She informed her manager, JJ, who took down some information on what options I was interested in. He returned to tell me that 2011 inventory was so low across the US that there weren't any trucks that met what I wanted on the east coast. We discussed the price of the 2012 truck I test drove and the price of the closest truck that was a 2011 that they had on the lot. They both stayed after hours to work with me. I left saying that I would have to decide and do some research. Several days later I was clued in to an American Express service and true cars.com. I emailed Colette with several of the trucks with options I was interested in. She responded with the dealer's lowest price, which was within my target range. She recommended that if I wanted this truck to put a deposit on it so no one else could take it. After discussing I agreed. Working with the dealership we managed to settle on a reasonable price for my trade ins. I have information regarding loans and extended waranty to hopefully negotiate a price on both, so far the service has been wonderful. Colette and JJ, as well as the GM Paul, have all been a pleasure to deal with, and have done all that they can to get me into the truck that I want at a price that is within my target range. I will most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new Ford in the future. More
