On 11/20/13 I visited Classic Ford and purchased a used 2007 Honda Accord EX. Dayle Davis, was the salesman and before I purchased the car I asked him about any issues with the car and he stated that the c 2007 Honda Accord EX. Dayle Davis, was the salesman and before I purchased the car I asked him about any issues with the car and he stated that the car goes through a service check before it can be sold. Also he stated to me that he likes to sleep at night and with that being said he wouldn't sell a car that he knew had issues. Then we looked the car over on the outside and under the hood, before I test drove it. I didn't see any issue with the car and purchased it in good faith that the car had been checked out and everything was fine. When I got the car home, I went to remove the front tags off of the car and noticed a fluid leak under the car at the front. It looked like power steering or oil but I was sure. So the next day I had the car checked out at a Firestone dealer to see if it was a simple problem. However, I was told by two Master Techs, that it wasn't and advised that it could be the "Rear Main Seal" and to take it to the dealer. So I called Eric the sales manager and told him the issue and he told me to bring it in so his guys could look at it. When I got to Classic Ford I was told by Eric that the car would be looked at and fixed there. By the end of the day I was notified by Dayle, that the car was ready and that he would explain to me what the mechanic said but I was out of town and couldn't show up until the next day. So the next morning I showed up to get my car and was told by Dayle and Eric that the mechanic said he couldn't find any leaks and it looked like someone threw oil up under the car. So nothing was fixed because they said the car was fine. Also, the spot where the car was sitting all night I couldn't see any oil spot. I also asked if any additive was put in the car just as a quick fix and was told no by Dayle, because they have a reputation to up hold. So when I got home and pulled into my driveway in a different location and turned off the car it started leaking oil again and I notice that the oil was a clear gold color and that Classic Ford has a blacktop parking lot, so no wonder I didn't see any oil spots and it looked fine. Eric stated to me that if I saw the same problem to bring the car back for inspection but I feel as if I was lied to multiple times about the car having no issues. Once before I purchased the car and after me and two Master Techs, notice the car had an oil leak problem and now that the car has been purchased Classic Ford can care less about the issue. I also feel that Classic Ford is making me feel as if I cause this problem when the car started leaking the day I purchased the car and took it home before anything was looked at by anyone. I feel this problem was known about and Classic Ford just didn't won't to fix and instead sell the car off to some "Joe" for them to deal with and as for the so called 'Reputation" to up hold. How can you trust that? Along with trusting that they will fix the car right this time and not quick fix or lie to me again because the car is still leaking oil right now in the same area! This has been a bad experience for me buying a used car from Classic Ford and a lesson learned. Finally, a part of me also feel that this issue will be pushed under the rug and not even addressed but I'm writing anyway hoping that someone would take notice so that the next "Joe" won't get a bad experience as I did and stuck with a possible major issue just after a car purchase. During Januay 2012 I leased a new Ford Fusion. My experience then was very pleasant and I have enjoyed my car. I have put few miles on it and made the decision to go ahead and purchase the vehicle. experience then was very pleasant and I have enjoyed my car. I have put few miles on it and made the decision to go ahead and purchase the vehicle. Rico Gibson assisted me with that purchase and he was most professional and courteous. The transaction took place late afternoon and took a while due to several purchasers being ahead of me for the business department. Rico stayed with me until I had completed the transaction, even though it was considerably past time for him to go home. I am sure I will do business with Classic Ford again in future years. I had made the decision to replace my 06 Mustang Convertible with a new one. I started my search online and contacted both Dick Smith and Classic Ford to assist in my decisions. I met with a sale Convertible with a new one. I started my search online and contacted both Dick Smith and Classic Ford to assist in my decisions. I met with a sales person from Dick Smith who smelled of cigarette smoke and stated he did not have any 2013 Mustangs available and could not get any shipped to meet my criteria. This took all of 20 minutes, I then went to Classic Ford, where Hope Carter introduced me to Rico. Rico, immediately brought his 2014 Mustang Convertible around for me to test drive stating many of the features would be the same on the 2013. He stated without hesitation that he could get a 2013 to my liking. Once back in his office, (it would be nice if each sales person's office were a little more private) he proceeded to take down my preferences and went to work, coming back to me every time he found something which might work. I was able to change my list of preferences to exclude the GPS Navi sys which helped. He found a satisfactory car in another state. We further worked out the deal and I was able to sign. however When I was asked if I had priced Convertible tops for my 06, I stated I had seen them from 399-500, the man behind the counter laughed at me and made a snide comment. the other issues was a 3 year enviro package tacked on to my contact that I did not want nor was I given the chance to not take it.from JT the finance person. That is the worst part of buying a car, dealing with the last pitch sales from the finance person. More
Andrew Moore and the entire staff at Classic Ford was very helpful and professional. Andrew asked questions to ascertain what I was looking for in a truck and didn't just try to sell me. This was my first experience using the internet to buy a car and having it coordinated before I got to the dealership. Hope Carter was the one who helped arrange the car that I bought. Don Chadwick was th car and having it coordinated before I got to the dealership. Hope Carter was the one who helped arrange the car that I bought. Don Chadwick was the sales associate who was very knowledgeable about the Ford Focus. I have already owned 3, a 2002 SE, 2009 SEL, 2010 SE. This car a 2012 SE is such a move up from the 2010 SE and has already grealy helped me out. This was also my first hatch back and made it so much easier loading and unloading items as we use this car for a lot of short trips around town. The car is also used to commute 35 miles one way frequently and always gets 42+ mpg on this drive. Which it replaces a F-150 which was getting about 22 mpg and now is used only when we exceed the capacity of the Focus. Aaron Parks greatly helped with all the paperwork and made it easy to get through the purchase. All 3 of these Hope Carter, Don Chadwick, Aaron Parks worked very well together and the whole process was very effecient and through. Thanks More
