After speaking to my pre-owned vehicle manager and your salesman, I’m under the impression that you did happen to have your mechanic check the vehicle prior to the time of purchase, followed by the decision to purchase with approval from your mechanic. As with all pre owned vehicle purchases, you verbally acknowledged and consented in writing that the vehicle would be sold “as is” and we do apologize if you misinterpreted this into thinking we would make all repairs based on a mechanic we have never communicated with. Classic Cadillac of Atlanta you're correct I did purchase "as is" with the contingency that your service mechanics would check the issue after purchase. Hard for me to believe they actually checked it when I brought it in per the agreement if the issue continued and ultimately had to be repaired. I'll call to discuss.
