Went over warranty work to be done with non-warranty trim/scratch issue which would be taken care of. Stated one warranty service to be performed was to change battery in key fob. Transported me home since work would take a while. Called about mid-day saying listed work completed but there an open recall on thermostat which was in stock and could be done. I agreed. Went in to pick up vehicle in the afternoon. The piece of trim still loose as it was when I brought it in.. Had to send it back in and fix. Said the scratch could not be addressed because that tech not there today. My key fob and been damaged (the "open" button jammed and barely operable.) after they opened it to replace battery. Then found that the battery not replaceable in that fob! Left with a damaged key fob and scratch still un-addressed. Service supervisor (name?) said they would call me to come back in when scratch tech would be back in, and would attempt to "repair' my key fob at that time, and if it cannot be repaired the fob will be replaced it. Today is Tuesday June 19 and have heard nothing more from anyone at the dealership. Very disappointing and frustrating experience. More
Absolutely incredible people We were driving our SLK from Florida to Michigan and we were having an issue with the ESB/BAS system. This was an annoyance, but the car was still ve We were driving our SLK from Florida to Michigan and we were having an issue with the ESB/BAS system. This was an annoyance, but the car was still very drive-able. Unfortunately, right after we crossed the state line from Tennessee, the car developed a strong shudder and pull to the left. We knew we had to find a dealer and fast. Fortunately for us, Luxury Imports was 25 miles ahead. We limped into Bowling Green at about 2 in the afternoon, knowing that they might not be able to see us until tomorrow, and that might be optimistic. We were wrong. Chris, the MB service advisor, recognized our predicament and squeezed us in that day. In addition to the fault mentioned above, they found that our left front tire had a steel belt shifted. We replaced both fronts for basically the exact same price that I would have paid at Discount Tire! Then, we were on our way, down the highway that evening! I cannot say enough how thankful I am for this dealership, for their integrity, for their empathy, for their friendliness. Everyone we dealt with at Luxury was incredible, especially Chris and Mark, the Parts Manager. If I were a local, I would buy my vehicles there, I would service my vehicles there, and I would recommend them to all my friends. More
