Zander worked to ensure that I paid only for the services that my car needed. After having my wheels installed at a box store incorrectly CitySide made sure that the new tires were functional and recommended that the box store help defer the cost of the work. After living in Boston for four years I finally have a mechanic that I can trust! Thank you very much for your work! More

highly recommend Cityside Subaru I purchased my Subaru new from Cityside and have always had it serviced here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service center opens early in the I purchased my Subaru new from Cityside and have always had it serviced here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service center opens early in the morning and closes late in the evening, making it convenient to drop the car off before work and pick it up at the end of the day. Repairs are completed on-time, and the staff always calls to update me if they find something beyond what I expected when I dropped off the car. Cityside's popularity has gone up noticeably in the past year, making it a little tougher to get appointments with short notice. However, calling a week or two in advance of when I'll need normal maintenance has always gotten me a scheduled spot. More

Disappointed with service I've been a customer at Cityside for nearly three years. I had a very pleasant experience with them purchasing my current car. Two weeks ago, I went I've been a customer at Cityside for nearly three years. I had a very pleasant experience with them purchasing my current car. Two weeks ago, I went in for my 30k mile service. I had spoken to an employee beforehand who had given me the quote for the service. When I brought the car in at 7:15am, I mentioned that within the past 3 months, the bluetooth had started crapping out and I could no longer get a consistent connection to my iPhone 6+. They said the service would take about 4 hours and if I wanted to wait. I declined and took the shuttle to Alewife, with the intention of returning mid-afternoon to pick it up. When I called back at 3pm, the person who answered the phone said that the service hadn't been completed. Not thrilled about that, but fine, things happen. When I finally arrived at 6 to pick up my car, the staff pointed out that my car inspection is out of date. AND that, they intended to bring it to the garage across the street to get it taken care of but the garage had closed at 5pm. While I appreciate the intent, I didn't appreciate that I expected my car to be done late morning or early afternoon (as they had quoted me 4 hours), when it could have had ample for inspection. When I asked about the bluetooth, the staff gave me a canned and seemingly uneducated answer that Subaru doesn't support the model of the phone I have. Which would be a reasonable explanation save that my phone a year and a half old, and worked perfectly with the car for that entire time. The bill, over $500, I have little problem with since that's what they quoted me when I made the appointment. However, the labor costs are not itemized by hour and dwarf the parts costs by 200%. I know it costs good money to take care of my car, but the service was sub-par and to be honest, they don't seem motivated to get my business. There were no attempts made to give me quality customer service and for that, I am going to look elsewhere. More

I then called Cit I contacted Subaru America regarding the potential airbag recall for our 2005 Outback and was told the airbag needed to be replaced. I then called Cityside and was given an appointment and told it would take 90 minutes to do the work. I told them I would wait. When I brought the car in for the scheduled service on Thursday I was first told it would be ok to wait, THEN I was told it would take THREE DAYS, as the dashboard needed to be take apart! Also they wanted to know who told me they had the part. After some checking they found the part in stock. This 3 day schedule would have the car back to me on Saturday HOWEVER I was told it would not be ready until WEDNESDAY. Subsequently I had to arrange for a pickup as Cityside did not even offer me a loaner car. After returning home and giving this some though I call Subaru America and was told they would check into it and get back to me that day. Then I received a call back from Cityside Service and was told they would speed up the job and have it ready for Saturday. On Friday at 8:30AM Cityside Service called and told me the Outback was ready to be picked up. When I picked up the car the work order stated the passenger side airbag had been replaced. I also noticed the the dust on the dashboard had not been disturbed. I felt they were going to work on the car at their convenience with no regard for leaving me without my car for almost a week. I consider this very poor customer service! More
