My car was hit by a driver who was going through a red light. I was able to get to the side and call a tow truck. My next call was to CitySide. I explained what had happened and that I would be having the car towed there. Joe started to explain that for body work the cars go elsewhere. He must have detected by my voice just how shaken up I was and told me to just get in the truck and bring myself and the car to Belmont. When we pulled into the driveway, Joe was right there to meet us. He told me the car was his problem to fix now and that I should sit for a few minutes and relax. He kept reassuring me that it was off of my shoulders now. I asked if I could call a car rental service. His answer was no. He said there was snow in the forecast (boy, was he right!) and he wanted me back in a Subaru. I know that couldn't have been the usual procedure. Within a short time I was on my way home again. I know this isn't really a service review for car repair but I have full confidence that a department run by a gentleman of his caliber can be nothing but stellar! More

throw out bearing replaced under warranty at 34,000 miles Nick was very helpful. I had a minor clutch issue (worn out throw-out bearing had to be replaced) and he went WAY out of his way to make sure that the Nick was very helpful. I had a minor clutch issue (worn out throw-out bearing had to be replaced) and he went WAY out of his way to make sure that the issue was fixed under warranty even though it was not a clear-cut case (my car is modified). He kept me updated about the process and consulted with me exactly what kind of repairs I want to have done. He also made sure I got a loaner car for several days. Cityside guys know what they are doing and take their job seriously, you won't be disappointed. More
I have taken my 2008 Outback to Cityside a handful of times now, and the service team has shown they are interested in doing what is right for their customers. They have had multiple opportunities to try times now, and the service team has shown they are interested in doing what is right for their customers. They have had multiple opportunities to try to explain a particular issue as requiring large repairs, but instead have searched for the simplest, easiest, and least expensive way to fix problems. This latest visit was for an issue with the steering rack, which could have been solved by offering to replace the rack or associated components. Instead they found a mis-applied connecting bolt, drilled it out, and put in new ones. A previous visit was for a sound with the wheels turned ended up just requiring a brake backing to be adjusted, which they did at no charge. Labor rates are not inexpensive, but that is to some degree to be expected at a dealer, but I think they make up for it by not doing unnecessary things. More
Oct. 11, my 2010 Subaru Outback failed on the highway just before a planned trip to Maine. After receiving a great response for the roadside company I arrived at Cityside, they said they would review the just before a planned trip to Maine. After receiving a great response for the roadside company I arrived at Cityside, they said they would review the issues but would need time as this was unscheduled repair service. The service agent asked if I had transportation, which I said no, he then offered me a Outback to use until my vehicle was serviced. I asked if I could use it to continue my planned trip to Maine, he said just return the vehicle with the fuel in it. Cityside made an unpleasant experience turn to pleasant. This is why I will buy my next Outback from them and continue to use them exclusively for service. Thanks, Cityside Rich More
I brought my Impreza in Sat, 3/2/13 for a repair and a wash. Apparently, as part of the service, they scraped off my 2013 Cambridge Resident Parking Sticker, leaving intact 2010, 2011, 2012. I discovere wash. Apparently, as part of the service, they scraped off my 2013 Cambridge Resident Parking Sticker, leaving intact 2010, 2011, 2012. I discovered this only after getting a ticket for parking in a resident parking zone the same day. Now I'll have to pay the ticket and see if I'm able to replace the permit. I called the service center and was told that a manager will call me back on Monday. I had similarly bad experiences when I purchased my car and only returned to the dealership because the repair was covered by the warranty. I will avoid this dealership in future. Just a warning to remove all valuables and check any parking stickers when using this dealership. More
Went in for a GPS issue, I like the fact that they stay open on Saturdays til 4pm. Bryan took care of me at the front desk, came look for me at the waiting room when it was my turn. And Craig, the technician, understand what I was talking about and actually listens. Nice gesture that they washed the car afterwards as it was a little bit dirty. I'd appreciate that. More
Sales: Ordered car from them. Service: Obviously got my car somewhere else, but wanted to try them for service since they are the closest. Told them I need snow tires mounted on another set of rims and then put onto my car. So we got a scheduled date. I prepared for a whole week for this: need to get my youngest brother who just got his license half a year ago to tail me with 8 items (tires & rims) in the station wagon all the way from Boston to Belmont. Got there successfully and dropped off the items, thought everything's gonna be smooth. Got the call not 10 minutes later that they don't want to do this job because of potential scratching on the rims??? WTH? why schedule the appointment and make me do all this effort of getting there to tell me "NO GO"??!! Went to Subaru of Wakefield, got the service done. No hassle. More
