When we first went to CitySide Subaru, we had a hard time choosing between a Forester or Outback. But Mike helped us to make the decision. He was patient, very knowledgeable and professional, and not pushy a choosing between a Forester or Outback. But Mike helped us to make the decision. He was patient, very knowledgeable and professional, and not pushy at all. Instead of being a typical salesperson as we normally see in car dealership, he was more like someone working in the service department. We felt that he was there just to facilitate the whole buying process. This made our experience at CitySide Subaru very enjoyable. More

The employees at Cityside are always courteous, take the time to explain what the problem is and how they intend to address it, and they tell you up front what the charges will be. I have never felt that t time to explain what the problem is and how they intend to address it, and they tell you up front what the charges will be. I have never felt that they are pushing to do more work than what is necessary, as has been my experience at other dealers. I brought my Outback in recently because I thought I heard a grinding noise coming from one of the brakes. They examined it and found no problems, told me that there was ample pad depth left for another 10,000 miles and didn't charge me anything. They have a small but sufficient waiting room with TV and another area where you can set up your laptop and have free Keurig coffee. Not the Taj Mahal, but very nice, always clean. We bought our car here, as well, and got the best deal around. We like it so much that we drive to Belmont from Milton to get the car serviced. I would highly recommend this dealership (and have!) Mark was very patient, with not an ounce of pressure to buy. He was friendly and honest, as was all the support staff at Cityside. The finance department was a bit more aggressive, but informative and no buy. He was friendly and honest, as was all the support staff at Cityside. I had heard good things about CitySide and had always wanted to look closer at Subarus, having never owned one. When I needed a new car I stopped by there "new" location (used to them being on Broadway wanted to look closer at Subarus, having never owned one. When I needed a new car I stopped by there "new" location (used to them being on Broadway in Arlington). I was met in the showroom by Glen Dalton who was courteous. No hard sales but did press for what I needed in a car, price range, etc. That was fine, and expected. He was able to narrow down the inventory quickly, show me some specific vehicles and respond to my comments as I drove each car. By time I left I had a great experience and a good idea what I wanted in a car. Definitely a Subaru Outback. Glen called ma back a couple days later, and we talked about moving forward. He was straight forward on negotiating and we came up with what I thought was a fair price. Immediately after that conversation, my friend who had loaned me his truck called and said he would need it back because a woman had crashed into his other truck. I only mention this because I subsequently asked CitySide for a number of favors which they responded to, and without knowing my situation. They were great. I immediately called back and asked if I could have the car a couple hours for a mechanics review. No problem. I asked if they could assist in getting my payment completed quickly. No Problem. I asked if they could provide a loaner car when they weren't able to turn over the car that day. No problem. They provided when they didn't really need to...the extra effort. All on a day when we were getting snow flurries, expecting a big snow storm, and they wanted to get out of there and go home. But I was particularly impressed when I asked about the 2009 Forester they had provided as a loaner car and what it would take to get me into that...Glen did not jump on the hard sale(which he could have easily sold to me)he responded with what my original goals were and to keep within those. So instead of buying the newer car for $10,000 more he convinced me to stay with my original purchase. Maybe he was just sick of dealing with me..haha...but that made a good impression. AND I'm loving the car I bought. When I buy my next car I will visit CitySide first. More
This is my second Subaru purchase from Glen. While at other places I feel like I'm talking to a car dealer, at CitySide I feel like they do everything they can to get me in the car I want at the price I other places I feel like I'm talking to a car dealer, at CitySide I feel like they do everything they can to get me in the car I want at the price I want with no pressure. Glen is honest about the car he thinks you need even if it's the less expensive option. There is no feeling of them trying to squeeze every dollar out of you. And I actually enjoyed "bargaining" with Glen and Dan Rosengarten both times. Plus the service department is phenomenal - very friendly and fast. More

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Mark was very helpful without being "car salesman pushy". Very accomodating on the test drive. Price was very competitive and lower than two other dealers. Mark Lidano was easy to work with, no pressure, very informative and available. The rest of the folks I dealt with were equally friendly, helpful and responsive. Going in to Cityside Subaru is always a refreshing pleasure compared to ALL my experiences at dealership service centers in the past. The pricing, I have to admit, is so good because I have the compr pleasure compared to ALL my experiences at dealership service centers in the past. The pricing, I have to admit, is so good because I have the comprehensive, extended warranty on my Subaru - which is unparalleled in how much it covers... so I'm always pleased when even minor repairs are covered! The intake crew for service arrivals is quick and easy. Then there's a comfortable seating area with coffee, flat screen t.v., comfortable chairs, and a work-area for laptops. They always call my name almost TOO QUICKLY to tell me my repair is done. In times I have had to leave my car for the day, they have a great drop-off/pick-up service to Alewife T-station. And in the one case where my repair wasn't completed by the end of the day, they speedily got me set up with a loaner for the night. Awesome customer service. Well worth the price of going to the dealership for repairs. More
