We stumbled into this dealership checking the market value of a 2010 Subaru Forester on USAA.com. When we registered to have USAA authorized dealerships to contact us, Cityside Subaru called us within value of a 2010 Subaru Forester on USAA.com. When we registered to have USAA authorized dealerships to contact us, Cityside Subaru called us within an hour. Once we got there, Mark took us on a GREAT test drive that lasted nearly 20 minutes, testing all the different features on the car. Although they told us that there was only one 2010 Forester with a manual transmission left in all of New England because all the dealerships were making room for the 2011 models, we didn't feel much pressure at all. We knew that we were getting fair value for the car from both USAA and Edmunds.com. Within a day we had a brand new car that we couldn't be happier with. The only problem we encountered with this dealership was when they mistakenly gave us the wrong spare key. A few days later, we went back to the dealership, and Mark decided to give us all weather mats for the inconvenience. It's that kind of respect for the customer that we will remember when we think of Cityside Subaru. More
Peter was a terrific salesman. I accompanied my Dad to purchase a new vehicle. My Dad loved the Legacy, and switched to his first Subaru after many years as a Cadillac owner. I would give Peter a higher rating than the overall dealership. He was very accommodating when it came to our test drive requests and was always upbeat and friendly. When confronted, they started to be a bit more reasonable, but still gave me a low offer on my trade in. In the end, the price was fair and we walked away with some new wheels. Haven't dealt with the service department yet. Don't forget about the WBUR discount. More

Several colleagues had mentioned Cityside Subaru to me over the past few years. Finally, it was time to get a replacement for my 12-year-old RAV4. I made an appointment via email, and they were responsive and friendly in their email responses prior to my visit. Dwight O'Hara greeted me on the sales floor and quickly assessed my needs and general situation. I told him my last new car had been a 1994 Subaru Legacy Wagon. He "made a match" immediately for me with a 2006 Subaru Legacy Wagon. I test drove it on a very bumpy road and it was a pleasure to drive. I liked its look and features. I had done my research re: trade-in value range for my RAV4, and he was able to offer enough to make the sale happen. I also appreciated that I could get a reasonable financing rate with no pre-payment penalty. Overall, Dwight and Cityside made the whole experience as painless as possible. All my questions were answered honestly and thoroughly. I concur with my colleagues' assessments of Cityside and would definitely steer other people to this dealership. More

My wife and I just bought our first new car together from Cityside Subaru and the experience could not have been better. At no point did we feel any pressure from him or anyone else on staff. Instead he provided accurate and timely answers to every question we threw his way and allowed us to make our decision at our own pace. In the end we chose the 2011 Outback and after doing extensive research on prices offered by other dealerships, found that Cityside provided the most competitive package for the car, warranty, and service options we wanted. Michael and the rest of Cityside Subaru staff deserve high praise for the professional way they conducted themselves, and I will be recommending them to anyone looking at exploring Subaru in the future. -Craig More
People typically say how stressful it is to buy a new car and the pressure that is put on them by the salespeople. However, my personal experience was exactly the opposite. The salesperson, Peter Rosenberg, was friendly, patient, honest, answered all my questions, and did not pressure me in any way. Because of his approach, I was able to make intelligent decisions and actually became excited about purchasing a Subaru Legacy -the test drive gave me enough time to feel comfortable about my purchase. The other staff that I interracted with were also friendly and helpful with financing, registration, inspection and follow-up - they did what they said they were going to do. When I returned with my husband to pick up the car his experience matched mine. I never imagined that buying a new car could be such an positive experience. I am even looking forward to bringing my car back to the dealership for the 30,000 mile check-up! More
