When i returned, the employee asked “is there anything else we can do for you?” So, I asked to discuss my options and run the numbers... he sat me down, asked which car I was looking at, then had to go away and check with the finance guy. When he came back he said “I’m not going to give you numbers for a lease, they’re too high! The best option for you is financing, here are some online offers we have available right now!” None of them were what I was looking for, and he just shrugged and told me to go to Toyota or Honda, because they’re cheaper. Not once did he even ask my price point, or consider that I would be in a position to simply buy a car outright... Puzzled to the max - clearly I wasn’t wanted as a customer... More
