I've had several small issues here and there, but every time, all it has taken is a phone call to this guys to get it resolved. My experience with City Work Toyota in the Bronx was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I was lied to, and deceived for the sake of a sale. I went in to sign a lease for my dad who has bad cre absolute worst experience I have ever had. I was lied to, and deceived for the sake of a sale. I went in to sign a lease for my dad who has bad credit. I spoke to the dealer who knew this car was not for me. We talked about financing. I asked specifically what do I need to bring with me when I come to sign the lease and he said nothing. When I got there they had wanted a down payment which I wasn’t prepared to pay so the taxes and fees were put into the overall bill increasing the monthly payments. I should have known then, but for my dad I signed the lease. I asked the dealer that if for any reason I would need to return the lease can I bring it back. He said yes, I may have to pay a penalty, but he assured me that I could return it. I even called him after I got the lease and he assured me that if I ever needed to return it I can. That was February of this year. By April I knew the payments were too much for my dad and I called to return it. He never returned my calls. I called the complaint line and put in a formal complaint. They informed me that everything I was told by Bronx Toyota was wrong. I can’t just return a lease it has to be repossessed, or pay the balance on the lease and return it. I called a lawyer who contacted Corporate Toyota, and they refused to get involved. They stated that each Toyota is their own entity and I would have to deal with them directly. When I finally got someone from the dealership on the telephone in late June I was told the best they could do for me was give me a coupon for a free oil change. I made it clear this car is a huge financial burden and I don’t want it. She said she couldn’t help me. I decided to ruin my credit and do a voluntary repossession. I took the car to the dealership and they refused to take it. They said the lot is full and they can’t accommodate me. I put the car on leasetrader, but no one wants this car. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CITY WORLD TOYOTA in the Bronx. Hey will lie and cheat to make a sale, and then not assist you in any way after. Their service is poor, and I would NEVER again do business with them or recommend them to anybody. More
I went to City World Ford which I imagine is the same owner as this. I called ahead about a $6000 Sentra and was told that there was no dealer fees on it and that was the correct price. When I got there I looked about before hand and saw the car with a $10,500 sticker. The dealer I talked to didn't even apologize about the lie, he went away for a bit a came up with $4500 in fees to make the car $10,500. Includeed was a $1600 destination fee for a car that was in the lot. When I talked to the dealer he also refused to except that I didn't want to finance the car and tried to sell me some story about it being cheaper some how if I financed instead of buying straight out. Needless to say, a disappointing place, I wasted a good hour and a half driving back and forth to here. More
This is one of the worst dealer I ever met. Stupid guys are out there to show you car. If you do some research and find some car on thier website, 110% it wont be in the showroom to show you. I had really bad experience with this dealer and I'd lost one day. So its my sincere suggestion PLEASE PLEASE do not visit this dealer. More

When we went back in to give the rest of our deposit Henry was rude at one point and although we did get some u charged MORE than the sticker price. When we went back in to give the rest of our deposit Henry was rude at one point and although we did get some upgrades Rudy treated my fiance rudely, when he went in to have the upgrades installed,by basically ignoring him. I have worked in customer service for many years and was very disapppointed by the way we were treated. I will NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. More
