I brought my car into the service department at City World Hyundai, in the Bronx,NY for my check engine light to be diagnosed.. I recieved a P1326 Code for engine knocking . They called to tell me that World Hyundai, in the Bronx,NY for my check engine light to be diagnosed.. I recieved a P1326 Code for engine knocking . They called to tell me that I had an EXCESSIVE leak in my oil pan and valve cover gasket and quoted me $1,597! I declined service and took my car to my normal mechanic.. only to see that my oil pan has absolutely no leak at all.. and a minor leak in my valve cover gasket.. Definitely tried to charge me for something that indeed was not the problem. I am a woman but VERY familiar with cars as I was raised by a mechanic! This is disgusting behavior and who knows how many people they are basically scamming! I paid $315 for a false diagnosis . Shame on this dealership More
