I brought my escape to be diagnostic and they had it for 5 weeks. Than I was told it wasn't under warranty. It had the same issues as before which I brought it there in January. I would not recommend this p 5 weeks. Than I was told it wasn't under warranty. It had the same issues as before which I brought it there in January. Friday, March 28, 2020. I am having a very unpleasant Friday, March 28, 2020. I am having a very unpleasant experience with Citywide Ford right-now!!! One issue is communication, the other is dishones Friday, March 28, 2020. I am having a very unpleasant experience with Citywide Ford right-now!!! One issue is communication, the other is dishonesty and the other is faulty work. Three days in now and the original issue I bought it here for, is still an issue. Although they’ve told me it would be fixed. More to come. The details I went to Citywide Ford service facility for a passenger door faulty switch. I asked the service writer to check for recalls on the vehicle, he did. And found the issues was a recall issue and it was “repaired”. They call me and say the car is ready, I go back to pickup my car and now there’s a check engine light on, which was not on when I dropped off the car. Now I’m at $60 in Uber back and forth. The service writer, Lied and said he told me about the light being on. (I would not have spent $60 to go to the dealer just to say fix it.) I would have had it checked/ repaired without making a useless trip! And as I checked the original repair, it was not complete. I tell them to proceed with the additional repair. Then I get a call that the car is ready and the cost is $1,600! I ask the service Director if he could make a consideration on the bill due to the previous wasted trip. He starts complaining about his customers and adds me to the list of “pain in the xxx” customers and refuses to give any consideration for his lying representative. I pay the bill and begin to check my vehicle and find the original issue is still present! Passenger door latch assembly which no longer allows the vehicle security system to work nor does the remote start work. The service Director essentially had nothing to say about the issue. The service writer takes the car back to the mechanic who worked on the issue and they bypassed a hood sensor to make the remote start work again. They seem to have broken my hood sensor and instead of replacing it, they send me to their parts department. Monday, March 31, 2020 It is now 3 days later and the passenger door latch issue is back. The alarm goes off for no reason and the remote-start has stopped working again. I now have to leave my vehicle unlocked or the alarm will go off regularly. Passenger door open indicator stays on when door is closed. Citywide is currently the closes Ford dealer to me. I will take the time to find a different Ford dealer with a better service department. After I make all of their management and ownership aware of this issue. More

WORST PLACE EVER!!! I WILL NEVER LEASE FROM CITY WORLD FORD AGAIN! SEE PHOTOS. Still riding around (after a month) in my 2019 Ford Escape (leased in February) with two pieces of my car ZIP TIED TO THE FRA FORD AGAIN! SEE PHOTOS. Still riding around (after a month) in my 2019 Ford Escape (leased in February) with two pieces of my car ZIP TIED TO THE FRAME!!! That was a quick fix from Mr. Tires, because while driving 70 mph, these two pieces that were not secured to the frame, caught air, and were scraping into the ground! Frank (the mechanic from City World Ford service), who replaced the engine on my car) unscrewed these two plastic pieces from the underside of both sides of my car and never screwed them back in! He also went home with my car key when I came to pick up the car! Then, after bringing the car in yet again, and having the manager Henry examine the car, we were informed by Henry that Frank should have never even touched those screws because they have nothing to do with the engine! We have been dealing with them and this situation since August, because coolant had been leaking into the engine the whole time! But Gilda and mechanic Christopher, first, tried to blame it on the gas we were using, and sent me home with the car stating that there was no issue found! They charged me $227.00 after doing nothing to the car, while it sat in the service center for 5 days! We were promised a refund of the $227. I haven't seen that yet, even though I am out of pocket for more than that as the car eventually just overheated upon startup and had to be towed! NEGLECT!! NEGLECT!! NEGLECT!! I recommend Mr. Tires. Zip ties on the car sounds like terrible service, but the plastic pieces were chewed up from the road, and they were unable to screw them back in. Best service I've had yet! And they did not charge us. I also recommend Smith Cairns. Although they suggested we continue with City World Ford's service, as this was a continuing issue (I was trying take my car some place other than City World Ford), whatever Smith Cairns did to the car, the car made it back to City World Ford without even the check engine light coming on, as it had to be towed to them in the first place! I wish I had read all of the negative reviews for City World Ford service prior to bringing my vehicle there! Pics are attached. We could only take pics from one side of the vehicle, as cars were whizzing by us at speeds of over 70 mph on the other side, as we crouched down on a busy highway to find the problem! More
Very poor customer service in the service department I had an airbag recall for my Ford Edge and needed to get a loaner car or a car rental for the time it would be in the shop. Service said very abrupt I had an airbag recall for my Ford Edge and needed to get a loaner car or a car rental for the time it would be in the shop. Service said very abruptly "we do not do that" (even though Ford was going to pay for it). I was holding on the phone for 15 minutes - on a conference call together with a representative from Ford - and the Service Manager wouldn't come to the phone. I made an appointment with the understanding that the Service Manager was going to call back to "see what they could do". He never called and so I had to cancel the appointment. Another appointment was made for three weeks later and still no help in getting a loaner / rental car replacement. Finally in disgust I called Smith Carins Ford in Yonkers (further away but very cooperative) and they set me up right away with a rental car that was delivered to their facility. On the whole a very pleasant experience in spite of the added distance. More
Most unprofessional service ever Worst service experience of my life. I had went there once and it wasn’t great, but I had a noise in my car and they sent me a coupon for service, so Worst service experience of my life. I had went there once and it wasn’t great, but I had a noise in my car and they sent me a coupon for service, so I decided to give them another shot. Gilda was my contact. Dropped it on a Tuesday and she said she’d be in touch in 2-3 days with the diagnostic. The weekend came and went - no call. Spent Monday on hold and not receiving calls or texts back from her. Finally Tuesday (a week later) she called and said it would be $1455 total. I said fine just get it done and get me it back before the weekend. She promised it would be done by Thursday @ 2p. Thursday morning she texted the mechanic was sick (like they only have one mechanic there lol) and it would be ready Friday by 2p guaranteed. I called Friday @ 1p and they told me they “couldn’t find Gilda” and they couldn’t tell me if my car was ready. Furious I demanded to speak to her manager on Monday morning. She called me Monday and said she understood my frustration and the car was done. And for my troubles they discounted the price from $2600 to $2000 - except the original quoted price was $1455. I called her furious and she said “oh I got the paperwork mixed up. It’s $1455 no discount.” I would give 0/5 stars if that was possible. Two weeks later I picked up my car that needed new struts and an oil change. Never going back there again. Most unprofessional service ever. Further more I had to jump my car later on today after I got it back. They killed my battery! More
