When I called for an appointment I told the service department that I would leave the car. When I arrived to drop it off, Elaina gave me a reasonable estimate of how long it would take to do a full diagnosis. When she called me, she summarized the complete report, and helped me prioritize the repairs. She also arranged for me to talk with the examining mechanic when I picked up the car, so all my questions could be answered. It is attentive service like this that keeps me coming back to Autobarn in Evanston. More

Your technician told me that you use special oil imported from Germany that last 10,000 miles???, but you use only domestic Casstrol ......... ouch... That will put you on the bottom line of my future services. Last time I was in service technician say to me that my air filter is worn and this tame is good.Last time my tires are excellent and now 2 are fair and one is worn Car has only 34,000 miles. and one new tire. They suggested 600 dollars to replace 3 tires + labor rotating????? My service to change oil ,filter an rotate tires plus one bulb was changed cost me $ 140.00 Expensive Very Unhappy And on the end none bring my car back. I have to go myself . More

Even when I have been traveling and I am concerned about my auto she can provide me with answers or ways to get the proper help. She reminds me of "Cousin Vinny"s girlfriend in that movie who was an automobile expert. If Elaina does not know an answer she is quite comfortable asking someone who might know. She is friendly, personable and willing to go out of her way to serve. I would give her an A++++ as a dedicated employee. More

Justin is a newer addition, but he has also been great to work with. Each is so accommodating and explains everything in a way anyone can understand. I have often waited for service with my two toddlers and the service consultants make sure the appointment goes as quickly as possible. In fact, I moved to Upstate NY two years ago and still bring my car to Autobarn Evanston on my biannual trips to Chicago. I bought my first car here and fell in love with VW. I bought my second because of the great service and anticipate more to come. It is, without a doubt, the best dealer and service center I've been to. More
