I went to the Autobarn unsure of whether I wanted to purchase a Golf GTI or a Jetta and I had not decided whether to aim for buying a pre-owned vehicle or a new car. He willingly pointed out reasons that I did not need to spend more on certain options given the miles I typically drive. And he made sure that I had time to consider the answers to all of my questions and drive every possible car I might be interested in. I never felt any pressure to make a quick decision or pick a particular car or option package. Overall, Narcis was a pleasure to work with. I felt very comfortable asking him questions and negotiating the price of the car that I ultimately purchased. I would not hesitate to go back to the Autobarn and to work with that dealership or with Narcis again. More

i purchased my car from here and let me tell you, what an experience!!! I purchased a 2009 VW CC from this location almost a year ago. Boyan (sales person) and Jay Scott (certified manager) were great. The customer service and friendliness were "over the top". They both did all they could to insure I was happy with the vehicle I was purchasing. I drove the vehicle one month before it begin to have problem after problem. The check engine light and gas cap light would come on every month with the same codes. The VW dealer in Wisconsin, where I'm from would fix the problems. I notified the dealer immediately about the problems I was having and returned it to them to have there service dept work on it. The vehicle has been in the shop 9 times in 11 months. I notified the general manager of the Autobarn and he did not return a phone call or email. I also notified headquarters and they offered me a $1,000 check to purchase a new vehicle. Why would I want to purchase a another vehicle and not satisfied with the one I have. I even contact the BBB and they said there was nothing they could do. They didn't even give me the option of arbitration. So I'm pretty much stuck paying for a "lemon". Illinois does not have a lemon law so beware of purchasing a vehicle from that state. I'm still having problems with the vehicle to this date and they still will not take the car back as a loss to their company. Beware of purchasing any vehicle from the autobarn because they do not guarantee a car even when they have certified it. How can you certify a vehicle and its in the shop almost every month for a year. Buyers BEWARE! Thanks again to Boyan and Jay for great service and their committment to make me happy! More

What can I say about Shawn Kohli? First, he is incredibly customer focused. He truly seems to want each buyer to have a great experience and leave with the car of their current dreams at the best incredibly customer focused. He stayed after his normal working hours to meet with me and stayed even later (canceled dinner engagement) after regular closing hours to complete the best deal for me.
