Went there to test drive a Telluride, loved the vehicle. Myles was a great guy, very knowledgeable and helpful. Joel (the Guest Experience Leader) arrived on the scene and all things went to xxxx. After placing a higher price than the sticker price on the finance proposal, he proceeded to use fuzzy math to attempt to convince us that the monthly note would actually save us money. We showed him prices from web sites of similar vehicles and he said they'd go up after including the accessories when we get there. We informed him that we'd go to lunch, review the proposal and think about it. Joel says, "Wait, I'm about to reduce the price and you're telling me you're leaving, wouldn't you prefer to stay?". I told him that I'd PRFER he give us the best price up front and we departed. Ended up buying the SAME vehicle at another dealership (Friendly Kia in New Port Richie, FL.) for nearly $11,000 less than City Kia's final price proposal. More

When it came to the numbers, the sales manager stepped in. Joel was nice but a bit on the pushy side. This wasn’t our first brand new vehicle purchase. I’ve done my research and we had a top dollar price in mind that we were willing to pay. To say the least, their numbers weren’t even CLOSE! I showed them the other listings on my cell phone and they said that those prices weren’t real. After an hour of discussion, we left the dealership to ‘think on it’. Over lunch, we checked the internet for similar vehicles and found almost an identical model (only difference was the interior color - instead of buttercup it was mocha). My husband called a dealership that was 80 miles away to verify that their listing was real and the pricing was correct. Drove there that afternoon and purchased our Telluride! Not only did we save a total of $10K, we were treated exceptionally well at Friendly Kia of New Port Richey, FL! Within 2 hours of arriving, we were driving our new SUV off of their lot. FOLLOWING A SECOND AUTO PURCHASE, UPDATED REVIEW FROM PRIOR 5-STAR: Extremely disappointing and aggravating post-purchase experience of a 2021 Kia Sportage, and I've tried repeatedly to resolve the situ PRIOR 5-STAR: Extremely disappointing and aggravating post-purchase experience of a 2021 Kia Sportage, and I've tried repeatedly to resolve the situation with City Kia (including with its General Manager Raul) and with Kia Finance and Kia Consumer Affairs/Assistance. All have failed (despite the assurances of people in Kia Finance that Kia Consumer Affairs could fix it). In a nutshell, I was misled/given bad information by Josh and Eric that ultimately negated the entire premise of me trading in the 2020 Optima. I based my buying decision and budgeting on information they gave me; but that information ended up being incorrect. I should be thrilled to be driving a brand new automobile (as I was in the aforementioned Optima purchase and experience); but this latest experience has left an extremely bitter taste regarding City Kia and the Kia brand as a whole. I've resisted posting this negative review in hopes the situation could finally be resolved to make things "whole;" but the latest straw was being put on hold for at least 10 minutes when I called the dealership to get contact information regarding a lawsuit I intend to file (on top of Raul ignoring my follow up email, and apparently disregarding my complaints as relayed to him on my behalf by Kia Consumer Affairs). You'd think that would get their attention; instead, I hung up because I was tired of waiting. So they can expect a lawsuit to proceed regarding their misrepresentation, complete unwillingness to work with me to find a reasonable resolution; and, upon reviewing documentation in preparation for the lawsuit, I also discovered that it appears the sales contract didn't count my down payment in the financing terms. Ugh! Really, just a ridiculous and unfortunate situation following what had been great prior dealings. INITIAL 5-STAR REVIEW FROM EARLY 2020: I traded in a 2013 Optima, upgrading to a 2020 model. Dylan nor anyone at the dealership was annoyingly high pressure; rather, he and the team were patient and respectful as I researched and made a decision. In fact, he identified various Kia discounts and helped me secure a better interest rate. All in all, a pleasurable and knowledgeable buying experience, and even a nice "thank you" gift of coffee mugs and other items at the end! More

I looked at the K5 gt line, liked the car, started the numbers and I like the numbers after 3 attempts on getting my approval one signed after waiting a hr the sales man and sales manager who put pressure on me to sign once he got me at my preferred numbers told me something was wrong with my employment and banks are denying me after I received an approval. But no problem. I just feel like if you can’t make something happen than say that. Will never buy there again sad part is I’m a 2 time buyer with them and have never experience this. More

I feel cheated by the negotiation process. The value of the car was increased without my realizing it in time. I was misled by an act between salespeople and the finance department.
