An attendant assisted me within 10 seconds of pulling in. Robert Heydon immediately greeted me, handled the simple paperwork, showed me to a very comfortable waiting area where I was offered soft drinks. The car was serviced on time and they even washed and cleaned the car. Not only my best car dealership experience, but perhaps my best customer service experience ever. More

Poor Service Department Experience I brought my 2003 X5 to Circle BMW for diagnosis of a problem with the central locking system which developed after I had a dead battery. The locking I brought my 2003 X5 to Circle BMW for diagnosis of a problem with the central locking system which developed after I had a dead battery. The locking system only worked with the key in the lock, but not with the remote or the lock button in the vehicle. After waiting for 2 hours, I was told by the service advisor that the mechanic could not figure out the problem and he needed an additional 3 hours of diagnosis time. I had expected the expert BMW mechanics to have figured out the problem after 2 hours of inspection (total cost $203.25). Making things worse, the advisor told me of unrelated problems with a leaky engine valve ($485) and torn bushings ($635). So apparently the 2 hours I paid for were used to inspect other parts of the car and not to diagnose the problem I originally asked them to look at. I paid the bill and went home. After 5 minutes researching the problem online, the lock problem is apparently a very common BMW problem that develops after a full battery drain. The GM3 (general module) malfunctions after such a drain and need to be repaired or replaced. I found a site (bmwgm5.com) that would perform the GM3 repair for $130. The site included directions for removal and I sent it for repair. 4 days later it was back in my hand and I reinstalled it. The GM3 repair solved the problems. So how is this specific lock problem so well-known I solved it in 5 minutes of Google research, while the BMW “experts” could not do so in 2 hours? After posting this review, the Service Manager promptly contacted me. He was professional and courteous, and he agreed to refund the diagnostic charge. More

Spectacular customer service I purchased a new 750lix and was over 50 miles from the dealership. John Marchetti met me half way, spent over an hour running through all of the n I purchased a new 750lix and was over 50 miles from the dealership. John Marchetti met me half way, spent over an hour running through all of the nuances of the 2014 model as my previous model was a 2012 and made sure I felt comfortable with all of the features. Additionally, I had forgotten to download the information and music from the computer in the car and John went out of his to assist in downloading and then installing all my information. Smooth and effortless I worked with John on a specific build I was interested in. I ultimately chose not to go with a custom build and found something located at the BMW port instead. I worked with John on the numbers via email and once we came to an agreement he took care of getting the car from the port and getting everything ready for me. I think in total I spent maybe an hour or so at the dealership for discussions and paperwork, plus the time their genius took to get me familiar with the car (which was the fun part!). I was not expecting a low pressure experience, but thats what I received and it was quite refreshing and unexpected. More
