Mr Musacchio - At Flemington Subaru, our customers satisfaction and safety are paramount. We are sorry for the inconvenience of having to wait longer than normal for your oil change appointment. However, for your protection, and that of your associates, we have added additional safety measures to each of our service appointments which do require some additional time. As for recall notifications, Subaru is required to send out a recall notification letter directly to the owners whenever the Highway Safety Board issues a recall order. This letter will explain the recall, the parts impacted, and the recommended repair timetable. Our appointment schedulers do not have this information available when you call to make an appointment, but our service advisors ALWAYS double check the recall portal when you come in as part of our procedures. If the recall will impact your safety, we recommend the issue be taken care of as soon as possible. If it is not convenient for you at that time, we will work with you to schedule a better time to drop off the vehicle. If you have any questions or wish to discuss further, please do not hesitate to reach out to me - Walter Lopez, Service Director.
