Mr. Gehman, I appreciate you leaving us your feedback on Dealer Rater. My name is Jeff Pursel and I am one of the corporate staff members for the Ciocca Dealerships. I reviewed your concerns with our service manager at the Ford dealership and wanted to reply to your review. First, I want to apologize for your poor experience getting your first scheduled maintenance at our store. We certainly could have handled some of the aspects of your transaction better. While first reading your review I did not realize that your vehicle is an extended length E250 commercial van. I learned today that Ciocca Subaru (as well as many of our other stores) does not have a lift capable of handling something that large. When you asked to take the car to Subaru, the person you spoke to either didn't know this was the type of vehicle you had, or was unaware that Subaru could not handle a vehicle of that size. When the van came to the Ford store, there was already a motor home with a wheel off on the only lift they have capable of handling your van, so unfortunately that is why it took longer than expected to get your van on the lift and completed. You are correct, an oil change should not take 2 hours to complete. I also don't have an excuse for the way our service writer spoke to you as you were waiting and picking up your vehicle, and that is on us to address and fix. Our service manager Michael Minniti had spoken to you and offered some resolution at the time of the concern, and if you would like to discuss that further you can contact him directly at the Ciocca Ford of Quakertown Service Center. I would love it if you would give us one more chance to earn your business, but if you do not I understand. Jeff, I appreciate your response. First, my Transit was taken back and it went right on a lift where it stayed the entire time. When I mention that I looked back into the shop, I neglected to state that it was up on a lift and nobody around. I don't know what Michael could offer me, but I may give him a call. Thanks Jeff.
