Everyone from the sales team to the finance manager (Jimmy) was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful and we drove off the lot with our new Ford Explorer (after trading in our old car) within just a few hours. Typical Purchasing experience, sales rep was terrific! As an educated consumer who makes avail of all the resources online to research cost, quality, and benefits, I find it beyond difficult to be treated As an educated consumer who makes avail of all the resources online to research cost, quality, and benefits, I find it beyond difficult to be treated as "less than" at dealerships. The "game" of haggling, being forced to "sit and wait" at dealerships, the sales person going back and forth with their manager during negotiations, etc. is old, tired, and quite frankly..its lame. Current sales methodology is solution or "win-win" oriented, customer focused (sales person listens to the customer and does not speak), and very consultative in nature. Our salesman, Matt, was awesome in that regard, although the Ciocca sales model/process still had him "playing" the "game". I will say this though....we had looked at vehicles at Ciocca Souderton as well, dealing with Chris there. Chris went through hoops for us but in the end did not advocate for us with his sales manager like Matt did. Matt got it done for us. My hope, however, is that before I purchase my next vehicle...the automobile dealerships in the greater Philadelphia area start to change their old, "good l' boys" typical "car sales" culture and sales methodology. Previously I purchased cars in New Jersey and had a much different experience than I did in PA. I may just have to take my purchasing power out of state again if things in PA don't improve... More
