If you have a vehicle to trade in beware. I Drove 3 hours to purchase a 2021 Sierra and trade in my 2018 Silverado 1500 Z71 4wd with 34,478mi on it. I Kbb’d it prior to the drive and was expecting to get aro to purchase a 2021 Sierra and trade in my 2018 Silverado 1500 Z71 4wd with 34,478mi on it. I Kbb’d it prior to the drive and was expecting to get around $35k based on Good/Very good condition. The Dealership test drove my truck for the appraisal and got into an accident, the accident was the other persons fault as they crossed the centerline. My 2018 Silverado has damage to the bumper/grille/headlight/fender. Neither I nor the dealership had dealt with a situation like this so I didn’t know what to expect. My assumption was the dealership would take some responsibility for what happened and offer me a fair price on my trade. That was not the case, I feel they should have looked at the truck I brought in there before the accident and then discounted the truck from that point instead they chose to use a fair price around $33.5k and then offer me what seemed like a very low $28k. I was told it was a lose lose situation for both parties but to me it felt like I was the one losing since I would be getting less for my trade and having to finance more. Both parties agreed the deal was on hold...then later that night I had a hit on my credit report that I didn’t authorize. I text the sales manager and was never given an answer on why my credit had been run when we all chose to wait and see what the insurance company was going to work out. I chose to get my truck fixed and pursue a different dealer and was given $32k which I felt was a little more fair. While all of this was going on I never got a single phone call from Chuck Nicholson asking about how the process of getting my truck fixed was going or an apology about how things went that day. I also never got a courtesy phone call or email letting me know the truck I was interested in had been sold. More

I received the call from teh inquiry about the 2002 f150. The salesman basically did not want to sell me the vehicle.
