I went to Chuck Hutton and was lied to by Donna. She quoted me a $600 price to repair a window motor. Said no one else in Memphis had the part. I guess she called every car part store in Memphis. Then my engine light has never been on but it was on when I left. I only went there for an alignment. I had previously received an oil change by Chuck Hutton. Found out later that there was barely any oil in my car after the oil change. Donna told me that the engine light had to be on before I came in. I said no it wasn't. She argued with me that it was. Another employee who had driven my car to the back said to her and me that he DID NOT see the engine light on when I first got there. Another thing, I sat outside and watched my car sitting in the same place for over two hours. I didn't think the alignment had been done but it had. So she had me sitting there for more than three hours. They apparently had done the alignment within the first hour. I will NEVER go back there. NEVER! Donna is the worst of the worst!! She is a LIAR! She obviously works on commission. She will LIE LIE LIE! She will tell the guys in the back to do wrong things to your car. God don't like ugly. She will get hers! She is as low as they come. More
they've had my car since june28th telling me that it would only take 10-12 days to get fixed. today is july 23rd. every call i have made has been ignored for at least a week. they called me back fina would only take 10-12 days to get fixed. today is july 23rd. every call i have made has been ignored for at least a week. they called me back finally on the 21st to say it would be fixed on the 22nd and guess what.....well you already know since i said to day is the 23rd. worst experience ever and my family has bought 3 vehicles here. that's over. I cannot speak about their service but what I can say is this was the worst buying experience I ever received due to constant lies and wasted time. I was from out of state and contacted them to buy a new ca this was the worst buying experience I ever received due to constant lies and wasted time. I was from out of state and contacted them to buy a new car because the car I had broke down and I needed to buy something as an emergency to get home. When I first send over contact information I was called within 20 minutes and then everything went downhill. It started with we will call you back within a few minutes and that never happened every single time I called and that was from the internet sales team and a sales manager and a finance manager. There was several times where I left voicemails that were never returned. There was also a few times where I was hung up on and when I called back was told the person I spoke with went home for the day. After almost a week of this finally I was told to come into the dealership because they could get me approved in my situation just not for the truck I wanted. I asked to please do everything remotely due to not having a car to get to the dealership and staying in a hotel to far away to walk. They said I had to come in so I got a lyft to get over to the dealership cost me $20 both ways. When I walked in we chose a car and went from there. I ended up leaving without a car or truck. Then finally after another broken promise to call back by a manager I called the sales person and was told that every bank turned me down. I understand the situation but if it is explained to you before hand, a credit app was sent over before hand, and everything then dont force a customer to come in and constantly lie to them waste their time and money. As far as I am concerned I will take my business to a dealership back home and if you live in the Memphis area then take your business elsewhere. More

I should have read the reviews first... I was solicited by Chuck Hutton Chevrolet by mail to bring vehicle in to address a safety recall. I scheduled an appointment for the work and additional service. $1,200 in additional service was completed, but, recall work was not. I was told the part was not available (even after scheduling the recall work in advance) and that I would be called when it was. After more than a month I tried to contact the service department, but, could not contact anybody, voicemails were not responded to. Finally, I had to resort to calling the national Chevrolet customer service number to schedule a second trip to the Chuck Hutton to have a safety flaw in the Chevrolet designed vehicle addressed. This took way too much effort to address an issue Chevrolet was legally responsible for. I spent a lot of time trying to get the issue resolved, had to arrange to be picked up and dropped off at the dealer on two occasions and was without a vehicle for two days. More
If I could give you zero stars that is what you will get. Not only did we spend $4,000, kept the truck for 3 weeks and 6 days, and we still have the same code and now the code means I need something else. Poor Communications Made an appointment with Amanda to have rain sensor repaired on 2017 Tahoe. Left car on Tuesday morning. Amanda said it could possibly be Weds before Made an appointment with Amanda to have rain sensor repaired on 2017 Tahoe. Left car on Tuesday morning. Amanda said it could possibly be Weds before it was ready but she would let us know. Heard nothing else on Tuesday. Called at 1:00 on Weds to check status. Service Dept did not answer so left message for Amanda. Called back at 3:30 as no one had returned call and we needed the car. Again no answer in Service Dept so left another message. Waited until 4:15 still with no call back. Went to dealership to get car repaired or not as we needed to get it before they closed. Walked into Service Dept and immediately saw Amanda coming out of her area. She recognized me and said...Oh we haven’t started on your car yet... Saw some Service Advisors just sitting waiting for the end of the day but yet nobody had time to make a 60 second return phone call?.?? Will not be back to this dealership. The least any business can do is communicate with customers. That cost them absolutely nothing. More

I called in and spoke with Diedra, I explained the problem to her, she said that I needed to have my computer flashed/reset. After that they would do a diagnostic to see why the Theft Alarm went off i problem to her, she said that I needed to have my computer flashed/reset. After that they would do a diagnostic to see why the Theft Alarm went off in the 1st place and I would know what's wrong and what to fix. When I get there Angela tells me call center people don't know what they talking about and I need to do a diagnostic 1st and then let them tell me what's wrong. Well there was no diagnostic done, I was given an estimate for a NEW IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER, CODE, KEY and if needed a NEW BCM. When I asked to have this work explained... Angela says in order to do anything they have to get the car to start and these are POSSIBLY the 1st steps. The 1st problem among many is I asked to have specific work done on my car and was told "NO", there was no diagnostic done at all and I had to pay $143 and some change to get my car back plus another $80 for the tow and $140 for some one else to do what I brought it to you to do. At the end of this ordeal I am completely unsatisfied with the service and customer service representative I had to deal with, I spent $450 on something that would have only cost me half that. I personally feel like I was robbed and taken advantage of. I payed you/ your company $143 in this time of little income due to this CORONAVIRUS, and you did not supply good service to me or on my 2005 Chevy Malibu. So Thanks but NO THANKS!!!
