In having the car less than a month, I noticed that the paint on the bumper started to chip, flake off, and peel. I returned back to your company and spoke with the used car manager, Rocky Clark. I was told by Mr. Clark that I MUST bring the car in on a Thursday morning and that the car would be painted and ready for pick up the same Thursday evening. I asked Mr. Clark how long this offer was good for, because I work full-time and leave work and go directly to school. Mr. Clark informed me that I could bring the car in on any Thursday, for that is the only day that the “paint guy” comes in and it wouldn’t hurt anything if I continued to drive the car. So, I waited until I was on break from school and had some time off from work, which also happened to fall into sync to when my car needed to be serviced, and that was on November 29, 2012. I call Gary Little to schedule an appointment for Thursday, November 29, 2012 for an oil change and tire rotation. I informed Mr. Little of the conversation that Mr. Clark and I had and wanted to get my bumper painted as well on that day. I conveyed to Mr. Little that I am in school and have to attend class immediately after I get off from work on Thursday, and I would like to drop my car off on Wednesday when I got off from work and I would pick it up on Thursday evening. Mr. Little told me that it would be fine to drop the car off on Wednesday and for me to contact Mr. Clark and let him know that the car would be there on November 29, 2012 and that I wished to have the bumper painted at that time. After speaking with Mr. Little, I called Mr. Clark to inform him of the appointment and procedures that were to take place. I arrived Wednesday November 28, 2012, to drop my car off and was expecting to speak with Mr. Little. He was not in when I arrived that evening, but I was able to check the vehicle in with Greg Kinsey. After I dropped the vehicle off and on my way to school, I realized that I left my medicine in the armrest of my car. When I came to pick my car up on Thursday, I went to my armrest to get my medication. The bottle was in the armrest, and I picked it up and heard what I assumed was my medication rattle around the bottle when I placed it back into the armrest. On Tuesday, December 4, 2012, I went to take my medicine as I was not feeling well, I opened the bottle and the pills in the bottle should have been my blue prescription Lortabs, yet there were some kind of white pills there. When I saw this, I immediately got out the car to check my trunk. Once my trunk was opened, I saw that 15 inch kick box and amplifier that was mounted in my car had been stolen. Seeing as how I have been studying for mid-terms and busy at work, music was the furthest thing from my mind; plus my box had taken up my whole trunk, therefore I was not concerned about it and there was no sign of any forced entry on any parts of my car. When I saw that my amp and box was gone. I know for a fact that all of my items were in my car when I dropped my vehicle off at Chuck Hutton on November 28, 2012. Someone at this company has decided upon themselves to remove my items from my vehicle and take a claim to them as their own. There is no sign of forced entry anywhere on my car and the only people with access to the vehicle during that time was employees of Chuck Hutton. On December 5, 2012, I went to inform Darryl Downs Chuck Hutton Service Director of what had taken place. I was told that he would look into it and get back in touch with me. He stated he did not doubt that it happened, but theft has never taken place there. When I asked to speak with someone higher, he stated that he makes all the calls. He basically told me that there was NO ONE else there for me to talk to. Mr. Downs actions indicated to me that my items being stolen from Chuck Hutton was the least of his concern, which is a huge concern to me. I have purchased a lifetime warranty with this company, where I have to bring my vehicle in for service; this is something I dread in the future for the experience I just encountered. I understand that Chuck Hutton is not respondiable for anythings that left in your car but my system was mounted inside my truNk. That's why I am push the issues. Mr.Hutton responded back to my email and this is the respond he make... Mrs Ferrell I am on my cell phone do forgive the short response. I am sorry for your situation... It is HIGHLY unusual for any theft to occur in our service dept... As I am sure you are aware we are not responsible for items left in vehicles by the customers... I will look into this situation when I return to the store Friday. I would also like ti point out you did not pay anything for your lifetime warranty as it is at no cost to our customers, also you may service your vehicle at ANY licensed and bonded repair facility. The advantage of using our shop is we keep all of the records for you... If you go elsewhere then you will have to keep up with ALL of the records. I will contact you Friday with what I find out about the missing items. Thank You Steve Hutton WHEN SPEAKING WITH MR.DOWNS OR STEVE HUTTON THEY BOTH SEEM AS IF MY LOST WAS NOTHING..I'M HURT THAT SOMEONE TOOK MY PROPERTY AS IT WAS THIER OWN.AND BECAUSE THEY HAVE A SIGN we are not responsible for items left in vehicles by the customers...I DIDN'T LEAVE IT.... IT WAS MOUNT AS PART OF MY CAR. I NEED EVERYONE TO BE AWARE OF WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN DEALING WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT....THE MANGERMENT STANDS BEHIND THEM...I ASKS TO SEE THE SURVIVOR CAMERA AND EVERYONE NAMES THAT HAD ACCESS TO MY CAMERA ( IN WHICH) THE OFFICERS TOLD ME TO ASKS THAT QUESTION AND THEY REFUSES TO LET ME SEE IT. Doris Hill was fantastic! She was not our original salesperson. Mr. Moore began as our salesperson and he was great as well. We were truly impressed with the level of service that we received from D salesperson. Mr. Moore began as our salesperson and he was great as well. We were truly impressed with the level of service that we received from Doris and the Service Department Staff. My daughter, Jamille Turner purchased the car for me and I was not with her when she completed her financing paperwork. I would have encouraged her to not sign the paperwork had I been present becasue I don't feel that Mr. Scott Mitchell gave her the best deal that she could have received. In addition, she was charged $2500 for a "service contract" that he could not confirm what it was for. She received the Warranty Forever protection and didn't need an additional service contract. When I spoke with him he said that it really didn't matter because he had taken the price of the car down and it didn't make a difference in the price. I totally disagree, as a Paralegal by profession, I should have pushed the issue but I didn't. On the Saturday after we purchased the car, which was the week of June 26, 2012, I went in to the dealership to have my phone, bluetooth and OnStar activated. The young lady who was the receptionist was a young lady in her very early 20's at the oldest and was rude and allowed me to sit in the showroom for more than 30 minutes. When I asked her where was my salesman, she rudely said that I needed to come back on a nother day. That was when I stopped Doris and informed her of what was going on and asked for her assistance. She was fantastic and took me to one of the managers who gave me complimentary oil change coupons for the rudeness and lack of service that I had encountered. Needless to say, outside of the financing issue and the receptionist who worked that Saturday morning, our experience with Chuck Hutton was very rewarding and I would definitely recommend them and most definitely Doris Hill. I very much appreciate the exceptional care and pleasant and cordial treatment I received from everyone there during the past two weeks. A very pleasant process for me and allowed me the time to make a great decision. This is the third car I have purchased at Chuck Hutton and each time (a Lumina in 1997 & an Impala in 2003 and again in 2012) the experience was pleasant and positive. I commend you all on your friendly & helpful staff. More

All of the people I had contact made me feel im family. Fred Chambers took and introduced me to everyone from the service department to the cashiers. All of the people I had contact made me feel important. Even a casual (passing by) "Hi. How are you today?" makes all the difference. This is the third Chevrolet dealership I have purchased from in as many years. I have come "home" to Chuck Hutton! Thank You for the superb service. Sincerely, Timothy G. Hectorne More
