I came in for one tire sensor light left with ALL 4 lights on, a oil change, and my car smelled of burnt oil with white smoke coming out my tailpipe and my car drives like it needs a alignment now. I got an oil change, left headlight changed & then came back to ask a question and they assured me everything was ok. However, I appreciate & love my 2015 Chevy and won't take it anywhere else for servi back to ask a question and they assured me everything was ok. I've been a Chuck Hutton Chevrolet customer for over 20 years, and their fabulous customer care and service are the major reason. I had a flat tire and called the dealership for help. I went to Chuck Hutton and was lied to by Donna. She quoted me a $600 price to repair a window motor. Said no one else in Memphis had the part. I guess she called every car part store in Memphis. Then my engine light has never been on but it was on when I left. I only went there for an alignment. I had previously received an oil change by Chuck Hutton. Found out later that there was barely any oil in my car after the oil change. Donna told me that the engine light had to be on before I came in. I said no it wasn't. She argued with me that it was. Another employee who had driven my car to the back said to her and me that he DID NOT see the engine light on when I first got there. Another thing, I sat outside and watched my car sitting in the same place for over two hours. I didn't think the alignment had been done but it had. So she had me sitting there for more than three hours. They apparently had done the alignment within the first hour. I will NEVER go back there. NEVER! Donna is the worst of the worst!! She is a LIAR! She obviously works on commission. She will LIE LIE LIE! She will tell the guys in the back to do wrong things to your car. God don't like ugly. She will get hers! She is as low as they come. More
they've had my car since june28th telling me that it would only take 10-12 days to get fixed. today is july 23rd. every call i have made has been ignored for at least a week. they called me back fina would only take 10-12 days to get fixed. today is july 23rd. every call i have made has been ignored for at least a week. they called me back finally on the 21st to say it would be fixed on the 22nd and guess what.....well you already know since i said to day is the 23rd. worst experience ever and my family has bought 3 vehicles here. that's over. I cannot speak about their service but what I can say is this was the worst buying experience I ever received due to constant lies and wasted time. I was from out of state and contacted them to buy a new ca this was the worst buying experience I ever received due to constant lies and wasted time. I was from out of state and contacted them to buy a new car because the car I had broke down and I needed to buy something as an emergency to get home. When I first send over contact information I was called within 20 minutes and then everything went downhill. It started with we will call you back within a few minutes and that never happened every single time I called and that was from the internet sales team and a sales manager and a finance manager. There was several times where I left voicemails that were never returned. There was also a few times where I was hung up on and when I called back was told the person I spoke with went home for the day. After almost a week of this finally I was told to come into the dealership because they could get me approved in my situation just not for the truck I wanted. I asked to please do everything remotely due to not having a car to get to the dealership and staying in a hotel to far away to walk. They said I had to come in so I got a lyft to get over to the dealership cost me $20 both ways. When I walked in we chose a car and went from there. I ended up leaving without a car or truck. Then finally after another broken promise to call back by a manager I called the sales person and was told that every bank turned me down. I understand the situation but if it is explained to you before hand, a credit app was sent over before hand, and everything then dont force a customer to come in and constantly lie to them waste their time and money. As far as I am concerned I will take my business to a dealership back home and if you live in the Memphis area then take your business elsewhere. More
