I have done business with you folks three or four times in the past. I found on line a vehicle I thought would make me a good deal. Now the young Man, Ethan Miller, I believe is a very helpful and good kid. And very new I think to the business! You should keep him. He’s honest and was doing his best to understand what I was looking for. My trade was in excellent shape, 54000 miles, new brake pads and rotors with new windshield wiper, top of the line. New oil change had 3000 miles left on blend oil and better then 60% wear left on a 75000 mile Michelin tire. I let your guy that gave the figure of 7000 trade value go, even though I knew trade in was closer to 8300. I had not told anyone that I would be paying cash, but I didn’t object when Ethan was told to bring me a new Ecosport 2020to try out. brought a Ecosport 2020, bumped the car I felt was what I wanted. I tried it out and nice enough, but trade in, rebates etc was not enough to bring it to what I wanted to pay cash. They of course didn’t know about that. I don’t remember names of the other two people kind of semi involved they were talking to Ethan I believe to try to help push him into getting a new car sale....Ricky Baird/Elias ?, with the eco sport. I with rebates and low trade value would have still owed almost 17000 plus after market premium extended warranty...the eco sport was not the vehicle I came for...the 2018 Fiat X lounge was. Ethan was very helpful during the entire process but when it came to my finally saying to Ethan my figures are not what I need them to be...we started talking the financials on the Fiat...that’s when Elias became involve. He came to Ethans cubicle and during that time with Elias finding I would be paying cash and was not wanting to purchase the Evosport...but Elias, upon my stating without looking up, saw him give Ethan a fist bump and caught the him make a big grin at Ethan. I stated I wanted an excellent bumper to bumper extended warranty. Apparently this is his aftermarket, etc area. I asked several times-where the extended warranty would start and how many months and how much mileage on the extended warranty...he would get me that information.... Also if the vehicle at 2018 with 23000 miles was there any original miles we’re left on that if any...never got an answer to that...but did see, but do not have a copy that 100000 miles but no idea I’d there are a number of months , that’s important when purchasing extended warranty. I had a lot of thing said, but no paper trail. I asked about a second key, they thought there were 2. I want papers that explain what I bought. At any rate, they should me a paper with taxes, extended warranty etc. But my additions were off but I told them I wanted it all under the $10,287. I apparently added wrong but when I re-added I still came under the balance of about 150. Difference but they were pushing pretty hard to get the deal done and it was getting past 5 and ai had been here three or four hours. Nobody knew anything about adjusting the lights, or Bluetooth and pairing my phone, there were server also numbers in it that had not been deleted and a Ethan finally was able to come out and fix the Bluetooth to accept my phone... Then I signed and used $2000...debt deposit because I forgot my check book. I signed and got a copy and Elias said he would have everything ready, paperwork, warranty coverage, 2nd key. However, He lost the $2000 deposit signed slip, needed me to come back and resign a copy of it....so I did but when I got home that night I found both copies on my dining room table. I brought over my second set of keys to my Ford....then had to wait, because maybe they didn’t have a second set of keys. my paperwork said it did there where 2 T trade, and Ethan, when I went to him and went and got then for me. When Elias, Ethan and I were in Ethans office and I finally said paying cash and wanted a premium warranty Elias tap Ethan and they shared this smirk and were not aware I saw them. I drove back to Excelsior springs twice to finish the sales/purchase of my car...but I will say this... I had set up my auto drive headlights and never mess with them...but either Ethan or Rick or Elias turned them off and driving home later after dark I was pulled over because I had no lights on...I was almost hit at an intersection and that’s why the policemen pulled me over. Also I could get no idea what amount of brake pad or rotors the vehicle I was buying had. I was told many points are checked, including these but no one could /would give me a response or copy of inspection done as a trade in. It was kind of slipshod and I almost backed out and left the deal. Also I questioned the depth of my tires and they never tested no gave me any information about what any real inspection report would available. Just odd.

Good morning Mrs. Carlson. Thanks for the kind words about Ethan, we are very happy to have him as an employee. At the time, it would've been more than fair for you to object to the value of your 2015 Focus and either request more or decide not to trade it. We received 4 bids on that vehicle, all under $6,700, and we bid it $7,000. The DCT transmission keeps a lot of people away from them in fear that they'll start slipping/shuddering, so the book value doesn't necessarily follow the market value very well. The extended service contract term is printed on your contract. it's good for an additional 100,000 miles from where it is now, and/or good through January 7th, 2029. You did receive the premium service contract. You told them you wanted it for $10,287, you received everything you requested and we sold it to you for $9,342.99, saving you nearly $1,000. I'm not sure why there was any miscommunication on a spare key or not. We provide spare keys on every pre-owned Ford or Lincoln product we sell. The other brands that we can't cut keys for, will have a second key at the discretion of the previous owner. I would be more than happy to email you over the copy of the multi-point inspection that is performed on all of our pre-owned vehicles. What's the best email address for you? -Nick Anderson
