BEWARE if you purchase from this dealership! Bad business practices and failure to resolve problems or even respond! I purchased a (new) 2025 jeep rubicon, over $52,000, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. I drove 244 miles, 4 1/2 hours to pick it up. The buying process was ok, left the dealership around 8:45 pm. On Thursday, November 13, 2025, around noon, I discovered a small, very clean cut in the LEATHER seat. It was barely noticeable in bright daylight, so because it was dark when I picked it up, and raining and overcast the entire next day, I didn’t notice it for a WHOLE THIRTY SIX HOURS after pickup. I didn’t know I needed to take a flashlight and inspect every inch of a brand new vehicle! I contacted Thurston Carpenter immediately, (again, less than 36 hours after purchase!), and sent pictures as soon as I left work. His response to me was that if I drove down on my next available Wednesday, early morning, their tech would patch it, so essentially a Band-Aid on a brand new leather seat, that obviously will not last. Not to mention, loss of a day’s work, two tanks of gas, and a nine hour round-trip just for the drive, for a BAND-AID. I have since contacted a local Jeep dealership and received an estimate of $764.24 to put a new skin on it, which would be the correct way to fix it. I have tried to contact Chrysler of culpeper 3 X since then, and they won’t even respond with any communication. I had also contacted Jeep directly on November 13, so that it would be documented, I will follow up with that, since I have not heard anything back from the dealer. I wholeheartedly believe that they should cover the cost of a new seat skin, because they claim that the vehicle was detailed before I picked it up, so they absolutely knew that cut was there and did not disclose that to me, and I should not have to pay out of pocket to fix a brand new vehicle! More

My husband had been working with a sales rep on a truck deal since Monday. He completed the finance paperwork and clearly communicated that he would be driving down on Friday morning to finalize the purcha deal since Monday. We live 4.5 hours away and even booked a hotel for Thursday night to break up the travel. Then today, he receives a text from Eli (the sales rep) saying another rep might sell the truck—and shortly after, it was sold. Eli then stated that it had been communicated they don’t hold vehicles, but there was no mention of that policy in any of their text communication. Even if that is their policy, the responsible thing would’ve been to clearly state it upfront—especially once the finance paperwork was submitted and they knew we were coming from hours away. While everyone was friendly to work with, friendliness doesn’t make up for poor communication and a lack of integrity. To sell the truck out from under a customer who had already begun the buying process and made travel plans is more than disappointing—it feels like a major breach of trust. More
Chrysler of Culpeper plays games with advertised prices. Dealer discounts are bogus, they show a dealer discount off of full MSRP which includes freight, then they subtract freight from the discount. The discount is also contingent on trade in and financing. They show a very attractive dealer discount but if you do the math the discount listed at thousands of dollars actually equates to just a few hundred dollars at best. When you confront the General Sales Manager with this his response is "Well Chrysler doesn't say we cant do it". The sales tactics of Chrysler of Culpeper is despicable, misleading, deceptive and slimy. Its a shame Chrysler of Culpeper uses deception rather than honesty to get people to purchase from them. More

It was a sad day when we had to trade our 2021 Toyota sienna hybrid in to help eliminate an huge payment that was financially too much for our family of 6 with rising economy costs and the need for a se sienna hybrid in to help eliminate an huge payment that was financially too much for our family of 6 with rising economy costs and the need for a second commuter vehicle after my husband’s was totaled by a deer. Prior to going to Chrysler, We took our van to the battlefield Toyota dealership where we were quoted $6000 less than what Chrysler gave us. That to us was very telling of chrysler’s honesty and integrity. They very well could have given us only a thousand more and we would have been none the wiser. We are so grateful for that. Ahmed was our sales professional. He was so kind and personable. We enjoyed our time with him test driving and purchasing our suv. Elijah was also very kind in answering questions while signing paperwork. We were able to walk away with peace of mind and a feeling that we were treated with the utmost respect for our time and our situation. We will definitely not hesitate to return to Chrysler with any future needs. More
