The service department completed an oil change and tire rotation in August. 10, 2023. On September 19th, 2023 I could feel that my Jeep Wrangler was not riding smoothly, I pulled over to find my driver re rotation in August. 10, 2023. On September 19th, 2023 I could feel that my Jeep Wrangler was not riding smoothly, I pulled over to find my driver rear tire had two lug nuts that were snapped off and the tire was wabbling. My Jeep was towed to Chrysler World the evening of the 19th, I called the dealership on the 21st for an update and was told they have to put an estimate together and then talk to the service manager to see if any of the cost would be covered. I spoke to the Service Director on September 25th, and he told me that because I had not brought the vehicle back in to have the lug nuts checked within 50 miles of the rotation, they were not liable for the lug nuts snapping off. I explained to him that this was the third time this has happened, and his service department was the only place that I have had the oil changed and wheels rotated. He said that he would need to have a conversation with the service manager and would watch the video of the wheel rotation and get back to me, he never called me back. I did not hear from the service center so I stopped in there on October 6th and spoke to someone who explained they were waiting for the new rim, and it would likely be fixed on Monday the 9th and someone would call when the work was done. I was told the estimate would be close to $770. I received a call late afternoon on the 9th that I could pick up the Jeep. I picked up the Jeep on October 10th, my bill was for over $800, and it was explained to me that I received a 15% discount. The individual who explained the bill sympathized with me but said the service manager and service director decided on the discount and nether one of them were available to talk to me. Clearly the service department installed the tires incorrectly, this should have never happened once, yet it happened three times. I should not have been charged for the repairs. I wonder what would have happened if on September 19th my tire would have come off of my jeep causing an accident. I will not return to Chrysler World for servicing my vehicle. More
Had issues with work being done , and being done correctly. If I wanted updates I’d have to call and ask. Had to bring my truck back for rework a couple times .
