My sales Rep : Lee was great to work with. Dave took care of all the paper work and there was a lot but I purchased all the extended warranty that was available due to the type of car I was bu Dave took care of all the paper work and there was a lot but I purchased all the extended warranty that was available due to the type of car I was buying. My only disappointment was the ceramic finish and warranty package. I purchased my car about 53 weeks ago. The reason I am filling out my review so late is after I brought my findings of the Ceramic coating had been applied over major water spotting. I brought my concern to Lee’s attention of my findings the windows had the most noticeable spotting , the windshield coating seemed to make the defects (tiny stone chips) d more detectable. My request was to refund me $1500.00 of the $1995.00 cost and cancel the warranty . Dave said they couldn’t do that even though only a few days had past. So our plan was to have me bring it back when the winter salt was off the road ,due to the fact I didn’t want to expose my new to me 2018 Shaker Scatpack Challenger to the corrosive brine and salt. Lee said when I wanted to bring it back I should contact him and he would arrange for a loaner car since the car was going to need many hours of buffing to remove the Ceramic coating and water spots. Well I didn’t make it back over the summer due to a lengthy health problem that causes excessive pain when I sit long term. It’s a hour and a half ride to the dealership. I did drive the car around home but couldn’t picture sitting an hour and a half one way. And the thought of a three hour ride just wasn’t with in my pain tolerance . I paid to have the windshield replaced out of pocket witch my choice and it made a big difference with out all the tiny chips I didn’t notice when I test drove the car. (Love this car). I wish they could have refunded a portion of the almost $2000.00 treatment but that’s all behind me. I wanted to have the Black Bumble Stripe that’s peeling more than it showed at the time of my test drive. The radio screen showed signs of delimitation but functioned fine during my test drive , that problem created a condition some referred to on the Scat Pack forum as Ghost Fingers . The radio would scroll through channels and the navigation was not useable. My local Dodge dealer replaced the radio under the warranty that I had purchased with the car. They were surprised at the $50.00 deductible ,my service adviser said they seldom see a deductible lower than $100.00. I ask about having the stripe replaced with the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty I purchased from Dave but they were reluctant since I didn’t know what brand of Ceramic coating was applied to my car. The paper work didn’t have that info and I didn’t do a follow with Lee after the call I made a week after purchase refund request. Even with the problems I am sitting with and the uncertainty of weather I want the correction made if the offer is still good when I can travel that distance , I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth taking the chance on removing to much of the factory clear coat finish . That’s a lot of details , after all said I would buy another automobile again . I’d just be more careful looking for defects of the finish before buying the Ceramic coating. Very Happy with my Challenger. Chuck Hellmer More
