So this is a writeup regarding recent dealings with Dodge Chrysler 24. I brought my Durango there to have a headlight replaced back in Feb 2023. They gave my Durango back exactly the same way and charged me Chrysler 24. I brought my Durango there to have a headlight replaced back in Feb 2023. They gave my Durango back exactly the same way and charged me 300+ for the bulb and install but never actually replaced my headlight. The headlights are noticeably different where the driver’s side, the one they were supposed to replace has a dead beam right in the center versus the passenger side has the solid beam. The mechanic basically ripped me off and lied to the service advisor that he replaced the bulb that was never replaced. This was only the first dealing. The second was not intentional as I thought I was at a different dealership however I found out the hard way the sales office is down the road from the same service dept. A couple of weeks ago I found a Jeep Grand Cherokee so I checked out and ended up purchasing. I went down on a Saturday to complete the down payment as the Jeep was not 100% ready to take but they were anxious for me to take the Jeep home that day. So I drove the Jeep home on an agreement that I would order a 2nd smart key online and they would program and cut the key for me. I drove the Jeep home and after checking it out at home I found bubbles under the paint on the hood. Also had vibrations on the highway so I brought it back Monday morning and they basically said their not responsible for anything, it’s a used car. They did rotate and balance my tires after keeping my car there for the entire day. That fixed the vibration but now all 4 of my tires have bad feathering because they would not check the alignment. This was a complete nightmare. I even ended up going elsewhere and paying for my own sticker just so I didn’t have to deal with them again. Well then the smart key came in. So I took a ride out and now they refused to program the smart key I ordered. Here we go again. After going round and round with them they finally agreed to program and cut the key. My start/Stop not ready error wont go away and once again they looked at it and said its working which it worked for the trip home but now not working again because they put a little charge on it to get my outta there and once again back at square one. I would avoid this nightmare car dealership at all costs. Some people may have had good luck with them but you don’t want to go through what I did. I’m still in the same situation and now have 4 badly feathered tires, a smart key they programmed but didn’t actually cut the key, a start/stop not ready error that won’t go away. Yeah, stay far away from this place!!! More

He inquired about it having a back seat in which the sales people treated him like a moron and both told him of course it does. Turns out, no back seat. Not a big deal, the dealership was willing to discount $500 so we could get one. Great! Then, since we are in Maine, there is a whole process you have to go through to buy a vehicle out of Mass. Fine. Laws are laws. He was told he had to finance through them or they would not honor the listed cost of the vehicle. Then he was told he had to do the financing (in person) and that the paperwork had been completed from the financing dept. but couldn’t take the vehicle because they had to deliver it to the town office in our town to register it. Okay. Now here we are on Wednesday. He called the sales man and said okay, I’m coming down Saturday for a wedding. If I come down tonight to get the financing done, can you deliver the jeep by Friday or can I register it and pick it up Saturday? Yes. No problem. Great! So my husband drives 3 hours and gets there just before 7pm. Takes it for a test drive. Likes it. It did need an alignment. Then waits and waits. Finally, at 9pm they speak to him. Everything he was going to sign was electronic (so much for needing wet ink). After about 20mins of trying to sell my husband on an astronomical rate (about double our local credit union) and the fact that it couldn’t be delivered this week like they had said, he walked out. Thanks, but no thanks. More
Came from New Bedford to purchased a pre owned 2019 Durango. Bought what I was looking for. Had to wait for the title to come in, they hooked me up with a rental until it came in!!! Do not purchase the extra service protection! The service department here is horrible. I went in yesterday to fix a minor issue I've had since I bought my car from them about 5 month ago. A friend told me that they had the same issue and they brought their car into a different dealership they purchased their car from, and the issue was fixed within minutes at no charge. Since this is a minor issue and the dealership is out of my way I didn't bring it in until yesterday while I was in the area. When I arrived to the service center I was told to see a representative at counter 1 who would be able to help get me started. So I go to counter 1 and he has 2 friends there that do not work for the dealership and were not there for any service, they were just there to catch up and hang out. That rep asked me to go to counter 2 and the rep there will take care of me. I thought OK fine no problem. The Rep at counter 2 arrived 5 minutes later in a bad mood. They barely spoke to me and when they did every word was rude. When I told them that I was there for the radio presets issue, they tried to charge me $200 for a diagnostics check. When I said that wasn't acceptable they tried to turn it around on me claiming that there was no way to tell if this was preexisting issue, insinuating that I was a liar. The service protection plan that I purchased with the when I bought the car covers next to nothing. For $150ish a month it is a total rip off, and I will be canceling it without hesitation. More
