Will never purchase a car from here again I bought a car from here and I am not satisfied. Customer service sucks! I drove 3 hours to visit this dealership and the day I came to look at the ca I bought a car from here and I am not satisfied. Customer service sucks! I drove 3 hours to visit this dealership and the day I came to look at the car I spent 7hours in the dealership trying to figure out if my credit was approved. After they got my credit situation situated they told me I can come pick up there car the following morning and it will be ready... Certified & cleaned. When I got to the dealership the next morning the car was parked in the same spot and was still dirty. I then had to wait another 4 hours for the car. When I finally got the car the dash read that a tail light was out ( but it was certified and I paid $850 I believe to have it certified) no big deal maybe they just forgot to put the bulb in. Now since I wasn't a resident of NJ I only had a 20 day temp tag. A week after my 20days are up, no plate... Two weeks no plate.. 3 weeks plate finally comes in.. Meanwhile I'm driving around with a expired tag. When I finally get my plate they tell me I owe them $1020 for taxes ( usually this is added on to your loan). So I had to pay out of pocket $1020 on top of the $3500 I left for a down payment. While I was there I got the manager Reggie Reid to give me an oil change. 500 miles later I take the jeep to a CDJ in my area because my fan kept coming on as if my car was running hot. They then told me that my radiator house clamp was broken (due to rust) and has been like this for some time because it was barely holding on. I paid $40 for them to look at it and $70 to fix the clamp and refill the coolant. I believe this is something they should have seen when the "certified" my vehicle or maybe less than 500 miles ago when they changed my oil. My next issue.. When I purchased the jeep I stressed to Victor my sales agent and Reggie Reid (manager) that I did not want the truck if the top leaks.. The jeep has been garage kept since I purchased it and I haven't taken my top off yet(purchased the jeep in Feb 2014) And I only drive it maybe twice a week.. So I'm sitting in the car wash one day and I'm seeing water coming in thru the bottom of my door. Now my carpet is wet and after a while it's going to start to smell. I called rt 4 Cdj and they were supposed to call me back so they can get it situated and fix the problem. It's been about 2 weeks and still no call back! These guys are the biggest crooks around! They're waiting for my warranty to expire I think.. I paid almost $32000 for my jeep and they treat me like s*** and will not return phone calls!!! If you go and they set you up with Victor demand you get a new sales rep. He knows nothing about what he's selling! I knew more about the car he was selling then he did! NEVER AGAIN. -Eric King More
Never would recommend to anyone! It was a very upsetting series of events that I recently experienced while leasing a vehicle from Route 4 Chrysler Dodge of Paramus, New Jersey. This It was a very upsetting series of events that I recently experienced while leasing a vehicle from Route 4 Chrysler Dodge of Paramus, New Jersey. This experience followed the lease of a vehicle that the dealership advised me was enroute to their location and that the vehicle would arrive within five days of placing the deposit. What transpired, including the numerous lies, excuses, and dishonesty regarding the delay of the expected vehicle. The personnel of the dealership knowingly and purposely did not tell me the truth in what was causing the delay. When I finally found out the "real" cause of the delay, I was forced to contact Chrysler Corp. Headquarters because I believe the sales staff and management of Route 4 Dodge acted in a unethical manner, and their willful withholding of information regarding this vehicle, for the purpose of making a sale, in my opinion, is nothing short of Route 4 Dodge's Management misleading the consumer. To date this matter still has yet to be resolved! More
Horrible !!! Went there today with a contract of a purchase from a different dealer ( that I could still cancel because I didn't take a vehicle out of Teterborro d Went there today with a contract of a purchase from a different dealer ( that I could still cancel because I didn't take a vehicle out of Teterborro dealer ) I told them if they will work with me on a little better deal I will cancel with other dealer and buy from them today. Not only they didn't match the price but offered 2700$ higher one and said my dealer lied to me and when I will go to pick up a vehicle from Teterborro they will give me a different one because they have must make a mistake with the numbers . I went back to my dealer and not only they smiled when they heard that but also threw extra equipment ( side steps worth 495$) for being faithful to them . Paramus? Very rude and disrespectful ! BIG NO!!!! More
Horrible pricing as per Sales Mgr Reggie I was in the market for a new Jeep Cherokee. I had gone to 2 dealers before Paramus. One of which gave me a GREAT price. I was giving Paramus a chance I was in the market for a new Jeep Cherokee. I had gone to 2 dealers before Paramus. One of which gave me a GREAT price. I was giving Paramus a chance because I think they had the exact vehicle I wanted. The first person I spoke to was Leo. Told him what I wanted, he was going to look into and call me back that night. Never received a call back from him. A day or two later I called and left multiple messages for him, he never returned these calls. I guess Leo did not want my business. I stopped in days later and talked with Reggie. I told him exactly what I wanted and told him the price I got at the other dealer. He asked me this question "did they give you that price with a straight face?" His price was THOUSANDS above this price and said he could not touch it, and that the other dealer was playing some sort of game. That they would make up for it on the back end, not honor it....etc. Is questioning was actually a little insulting at this point. So I went back to the dealer that gave me the previous pricing. Not only did they honor their original price, I got them to give it to me for even less. I got the car for over 6K under invoice. Paramus was not even 3K under invoice. Not only did this dealer honor the price, but the had to get it from another dealer , and they didn't charge me anything for this. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere if you are looking for a Jeep. Paramus is obviously tight with their holdback money. They don't care about selling you something at a great deal, they must have enough people buying cars that are happy with not getting much of a deal at all.....so they are not going to go out of their way to earn your business. Do your research and shop around. More
Review - Jesse Lopez New Jeep Purchase After deciding that my wife and I need a second auto and that it would be a Jeep, I did extensive research online and in Jeep forums to research deale After deciding that my wife and I need a second auto and that it would be a Jeep, I did extensive research online and in Jeep forums to research dealerships, pricing and specs of the Jeep I wanted. I knew I wanted a 2014 Wrangler Willys Unlimited and that I wanted it built for us from scratch. I called four dealerships in my area, with the intention of only walking into one showroom. I called Route 46 Jeep in Little Falls, Teterboro Jeep, Rockland Jeep, and Paramus Route 4 Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler. Both Rockland Jeep and Route 46 Jeep did not call me back, Teterboro Jeep wasn’t willing to come close to my price. Paramus Jeep sounded willing to deal and promptly set up an appointment for me and even confirmed via email and text. I’m not here to bash the other dealerships, as I know salespeople are very busy and can’t always return calls, but for me, it was a deciding factor. When I walked in to Paramus Route 4 Jeep I was immediately greeted, then within a few minutes the sales manager Reggie came over and introduced me to Jesse Lopez. Right off the bat I introduced myself and told him I didn’t want to waste either of our time. I gave him the price I wanted to pay based on my research and said if you can do this for me today, I’ll leave you with $500 as a deposit and I’ll be back in 6-8 weeks to pick the Jeep up. Jesse said he’d do what he could, and quickly came back and said yes, he would do it at my price. Did I get the best possible price? Probably not – but I also understand that in this business, both parties can be happy. If you walk in on the last day of the month willing to buy a car off the lot, I’m sure you could do substantially better, but that wasn’t my situation. I believe our agreed upon price left both Jesse and I happy and I didn’t need to waste my time visiting other dealerships in the area. I was in and out in 30 minutes. As an auto consumer I can be a very demanding client, I like to track my vehicles and am very particular about the details of my delivery, my wife forewarned Jesse of this and he gladly accepted the challenge, he said feel free to email any time. Over the next 8 weeks, I emailed Jesse maybe 10-15 times, each one of which was responded to promptly, always same day, within an hour. He took initiative to send me my VIN when he got it and also gave me updates along the way even though I was tracking via IAMJEEP and VOTS. I even left Jesse with a specific list of Delivery Day Don’ts, each of which he assured me would be taken care of and they all were. The only hiccup in the whole process was my Jeep sat in storage during shipment in Staten Island due to some uncontrollable issues, not the fault of the dealership. When I contacted Jesse regarding the delay he apologized on behalf of Jeep, then responded to me as such, “I am very sorry for the delay, if you want, I can drive out there and get the Jeep for you, but then I would have to put miles on it (one of my delivery day don’ts), or just tell me what you want me to do and I will get it done”. My Jeep showed up the very next day. In the last 15 years I have purchased cars from Benzel Busch Mercedes, Prestige Land Rover, Circle BMW, as well as two cars from BMW of North Haven in CT. I can honestly say this was my best, and most seamless auto purchase transaction. I did read some negative reviews of Paramus Rt. 4 Jeep, but I’m guessing everyone’s experience differs when buying a car. Sometimes car buyers forget dealers need to make money too. Give Jesse Lopez a shot, based on my experience, I’m betting you’ll have a good experience as well. More
Disrespectful and unintelligent Visited dealership and was disrespected twice and salesperson was an idiot and management was no better. Thanks Reggie, Brenda and Leo for nothing. Ne Visited dealership and was disrespected twice and salesperson was an idiot and management was no better. Thanks Reggie, Brenda and Leo for nothing. Never returning. Truely unprofessional for not knowing product and manners towards customers feelings. After all of these problems with this dealer they had the nerve and stupidity to call and ask me if I know anyone else looking for a vehicle. REALLY are you that stupid. I could go on and on about this place but there isn't enough time or space to do it. Do not deal with them. More

They charged me a deductible to do this and still was having problems. Called four times to schedule the vehicle to be looked at again and finally 2 weeks later I was able to get a human on the phone and explain my situation again. I was placed with Ralph (service advisor) again and they had my truck for 4+ days and told me it was fixed and again its not repaired. Have left several messages for customer rep.who called me back after waiting a month and will be trying again to rectify the problem again. They cannnot seem to fix this problem but are quick to try and sell you services you dont need or want. Not everyone is an idiot, treat people with respect and get knowledgeable people who can fix the problem the first time. More
If I could give this dealership ZEROs i would! ! I have dealt with a lot of terrible experiences at dealerships but this was by far the worst and most unprofessional! It was a huge waste of time (for I have dealt with a lot of terrible experiences at dealerships but this was by far the worst and most unprofessional! It was a huge waste of time (for 3 days). When we arrived we were showed the cars we were asking about (Dodge Dart) but we wanted a GT. They didn't have the car we were looking for but our salesman Joe said he can find it for us at one of their other locations. He took us inside and sat us down to work numbers before even finding the car. Long story short he worked a number we were okay with for a red Dodge Dart GT that was at another dealership. We signed the paper, shook hands with him and the manager Reggie and gave a $500 deposit to ensure that we would get the car. They promised we would have the car by Monday. This was a Friday so I didn't understand why we couldn't get the car brought to us Saturday when the car was supposedly only 40 miles away. On Saturday i wanted to call our salesman Joe to see what the status was to make sure he was working on getting the car to us by monday. I called the dealership 3 times and was put on hold or told that Joe was too busy to take calls he will call me back, but he never did. A few hours later i called and said i don't even want to speak to Joe anymore give me the manager. All of a sudden Joe was available to talk now. He said I assured you a car by Monday didn't i?! I said yes but i would like to know whats in it where its coming blah blah.. is it fully loaded like we spoke of. Then he gave the phone to the manager Reggie and i heard him say "i don't want to deal with these people anymore". Reggie came on the phone and said i will be handling this deal from now on; I said good because Joe is very unprofessional.. he got the deposit and the deal over with so he was done with us. Reggie called me back with details and specs about the car at the other location which i was happy with. He said the other place is closed now so i will have to work on this on Monday i will call you by 10am. If they had started working on the car to be delivered that saturday morning we might have still had a deal but everyone was too busy once they had a deposit and signature. Monday came and i didn't get any calls by 1130am so i called them….3 times… they were too busy to speak or they would have to leave a message to call me back .. now I'm pisssseeeddd! Reggie the unprofessional manager calls me back and says Im very sorry to give you bad news but we can't do business with you the car was coming from Allentown PA and it was already sold. So i said we never did business just give me my deposit back.. they said yea we will mail it to you… i gave them cash so i wanted that cash back to go get the car somewhere else… i am going there today to get a check or cash put in my hand and i will tell anyone looking for a dodge or jeep to stay away from this scam place! I went back to get my deposit and they won't give it to me.. they told me to come in after 6pm and it would be ready at the front desk but when i got there at 7pm they said it wasn't there and the manager wasn't there to give it to me to come back tomorrow…..again….. very frustrated with this place lets see what their excuse is today. Experience at Rt 4 Jeep Dodge Chrysler and Ram in Paramus I would NEVER recommend this dealership! They are rude, unprofessional and lied over and over about the status of my lease and my new purchase. Manage I would NEVER recommend this dealership! They are rude, unprofessional and lied over and over about the status of my lease and my new purchase. Management was just as bad as sales, they must be used to losing customers. I ended up going to Rt 17 Jeep in Ramsey and had a great experience. The Jeep I wanted, that Rt 4 claimed they couldn't locate, was ready for me at Rt 17 Jeep in 3 days! When rt 4 had be stringing me along for over a week. More
It was a mistake?. I found a vehicle online yesterday that I thought looked like a good deal. I sent an inquiry over the internet and Jessica was able to contact me and I found a vehicle online yesterday that I thought looked like a good deal. I sent an inquiry over the internet and Jessica was able to contact me and make an appointment for me for this morning at 9:30 am. I got there on time and checked in at reception, along with writing my name on a checking sheet. I even saw my name on a board confirming a 9:30 am appointment. 45 minutes later I went to reception and asked what the wait was since there were sales people all over the place. About 10 minutes later a salesman came to show me the vehicle (Monte I believe), but he didn't give me a card. We walked toward the pre-owned 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee I was interested in, but he immediately started pushing for me to think about a new vehicle. I explained that I had reasons for wanting something 1-2 years old with low mileage, and I already had all my financing set with my bank. Test drove and I was satisfied, so I asked him to evaluate my trade and see what the best bottom line price he could come up with. He took info and then about a half hour later he came back to let me know the car I wanted was priced wrong and should have been listed at $39k instead of $34k, but they would honor the advertised price. He then offered me $2k less than other dealers had offered. I wasn't real happy about that and then the Manager (I was told was named Milton) came over and told me that was the best he would do. I told the sales guy I was still interested but asked if he could check to see if he could get me $1k more for my trade, he went and asked "Milton" and he said he would do it if I financed through them. I asked what rate and he just quoted me a payment number, I ran the number on my loan calculator app and it was about $70 per month more than my own already approved loan rate. So I ask, were they honoring anything that brought me into their dealership? The young sales guy was ok, but the situation was handled poorly (especially by the Manager). Spent 3 hours before they told me there was a mistake! Too bad they could have had a sale if it was handled better. More
