“Built my own” Jeep online and the site said they had something very close at this dealer. I called and they said, “Yes, they had it.” When i showed up what they had was a car with 1200 miles on it that something very close at this dealer. I called and they said, “Yes, they had it.” When i showed up what they had was a car with 1200 miles on it that their manager was using. They said they consider demo cars to be new. I asked if i bought a car and drove it 1200 miles and brought it back would it still be new? Then they found another car with same features online and said it would be there in 2 days. The price, however, was $700 more. For the exact same car. I was told that this car was purchased later, after a price increase on certain options. As i started to walk out they agreed to match the price. Then they offered me $6000 for my current car. I went on Kelly Blue Book and they appraised my car at $9000. I received 3 immediate offers for my car at $9000. I put a down payment on the car, but they gave me no vin#, which was weird. I called 3 days later and was told there actually was no car. They thought they could get one but they couldn’t. But if i came in they would find me something else. I asked for a refund of my deposit and they said i would have to come in, which is absurd. I told them i was going to cancel the charge with Amex, then they called back and said they could refund the charge over the phone. Sleazy all around. More
Overall, I thought the buying experience was great until we received our first statement from the bank. This finance manager who represent this dealership stole our $5000 down payment. The total sales price including taxes, fees and interest is $30,500 with a down payment of $5000, the amount we financed should have been $25,500 and a monthly payment of $430 for 60 months. Instead, he financed the loan for $30000 and took our down payment and instead of a 60 months loan, changed the terms to 72 months. We feel so cheated that we have not contacted them yet. I am writing this review and I am giving this dealership an opportunity to read this review and make it right by either giving us our down Payment back or renegotiate the terms of this loan to 60 months, the same price we agreed upon or we are going to file a complaint with BBB and the NJ State Attorney General’s office. Dealerships should not take advantage of others. And to think that we were about to recommend a family member to this dealership is appalling. The finance manager worked for another dealership who cheated people out of their hard earned money and that dealership was recently in the news and was fined by the NJ State Attorney General. I simply just wanted to see what a specific vehicle looked like in person. The place was crowded which to me is a sign of a good dealership and was greeted by salesman Thomas Hogue who showed me the vehicle I had no intention on buying. He was informative , knowledgeable and quite pleasant being that I told him I didn’t want to buy. As I was about to leave I got the “I want you to speak to my sales manager”. I met Lamonte Mejia who wasn’t the usual swarmy sales guy who looks right through you as he is thinking of how to screw you. He asked me the usual ”what it would take to get me to purchase today?”. I told them I wasn’t interested but gave them a number within reason that i couldn’t pass up thinking they would just give up. Next thing I know I just leased a new Dodge Durango RT. Throughout the process I was waiting for the loophole that added onto the price we agreed upon but it never happened. It’s very rare to find a such an honest dealer. More

There’s clearly a lack of communication between their own departments. I was asked for a credit card just “to hold” my offer while I thought about the deal yet 2 weeks later they charged a $500 unauthorized charge on it. THIEVES!! When I noticed the charge I first reached out to them, was left on hold for 20 minutes. I reached out to my sales consultant and was told “I have no idea. It’s so busy right now I have 3 different customers gotta give me a few“, never heard back from her. Called again the next day, their answer this time was “why don’t you just put a dispute with you credit card company.” Then they asked me for my full credit card details again, to steal some more? Again, THIEVES! For the amount of money spent on vehicles dealerships should provide at least a decent customer experience. I’ve only had my Jeep for a month and am counting down the days until this lease is over. More
Ralph is the MAN I bought my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 from this dealership and since the first Oil change I’ve been dealing with Ralph.
