The worst and most deceptive costumer service experience I’ve ever had. No one else should fall victim to them. Jim Mangano is the rotten tree of this dealership. He thinks this dealership is the only choic I’ve ever had. No one else should fall victim to them. Jim Mangano is the rotten tree of this dealership. He thinks this dealership is the only choice in the area based off the way he treats people below human standards. He sits in a power posture the whole time he speaks to you. He talks about supporting and caring for the military families..which is a complete lie because otherwise we would’ve been treated with respect. Well Savannah and surroundings here’s what happened. We were in the market for a Wagoneer and we went to this dealership. Right at the door was Michael a salesman. We looked at some wagons but couldn’t decide on one so we made an appointment for the next day…Michael then complained about coming in the next day because it was his day off although I mentioned he didn’t have to. He decided to schedule it. Everything’s going great until I got there the next day! We test drove the cars and decided on the one so we were ready to talk numbers. An hour later still sitting with no numbers in front of us so I could basically smell the BS approaching…. and was not surprised when it did. He came back with a half of page of random things that unprofessional and sneaky dealerships do. Let’s not forget the “we love military” discount that was never given. We said we already had financing, so why did they need me to print out an LES, to see how much we make? If they need proof for a rebate they can see an ID just as easily. We did not see eye to eye on a price, so we decided to walk out. I was getting a headache and the stalling tactics exhausted my small children. After deciding to find another dealership, we were going to eat out with the family and right then I got a call from them. A saleslady called to tell me we could get the car with the out the door price we originally asked for. I was happy but reasonably apprehensive and kept asking to clarify what she said. Even the sales manager, Jim Mangano, clarified that we could get the car with that exact out the door price. We made the decision to leave the restaurant out of our convenience and go all the way back to the dealership expecting that we had a verbal agreement. We got there and our jaw dropped when they told us that we need to put $10,000 down on top of what they they said was the out the door price. Then had the audacity to tell us there was no way he could sell the car for the price we asked. That is fine, but why would you tell us on the phone a price and have us come all the way back? Then he tells us we had a misunderstanding of what “out the door” price is. They had completely deceived us again and brought us back to waste what little family time we have as I was told by Jim that if I can’t pay that price, I can’t afford the car. Jim was being unprofessional, had an attitude, and was just giving shady and sneaky excuses. He was exaggerating our asking price (which was just our starting number) and made us feel like we are unworthy of getting the car. I was absolutely astonished that they had made us go all the way back and deal with dropping off the children to be watched so that we could get this done…. just to be talked down on and lied to AGAIN! I genuinely believe this dealership thinks its and okay to disrespect their customers and take the time out their day to deceive them. In the end, the platform manager Rick made things right, but Jim was not apologetic and made sure he was not present when we purchased the car. The next day when we went to get the temp tag he fully ignored us. We were also told that we get 5 years of oil changes and tire rotations, but the finance manager told us it's not really 5 years, just 5 times in order to sell us on a warranty. Why did we purchase from this dealership, because we needed a family car, it's difficult to find this model with the color I was looking for, plus the one we were looking at from another dealership was sold.
