scotty was great to work with, we were apprehensive about dealing with dealerships but this was great . he helped us pull all our options and ran numbers so we could make the best choice for us. we went ther dealing with dealerships but this was great . he helped us pull all our options and ran numbers so we could make the best choice for us. we went there after going to some others in the north area and they were so high and really not willing to negotiate . luckily we remembered this place and had bought a truck we really loved there. that salesman wasnt there when we went back but scotty knew him and as he and my husband are both disabled vets it really was a good experiance. thanks so much. My journey to buy my new Dodge Journey was wonderful. When I contact Christopher Dodge through their website, Jonathan Dover contacted me immediately; he listened to what I wanted, what I was looking for When I contact Christopher Dodge through their website, Jonathan Dover contacted me immediately; he listened to what I wanted, what I was looking for and what payment I wanted to stick to. My experience was better than I could have imaged, I went in with an idea of where I was going and ended up with a brand new 2012 Dodge Journey. Jonathan did not pressure me into a car I did not want, he actually found a better car than I anticipated. The financing process was quick and found the best possible pricing for me. I will recommend Christopher Dodge to family and friends. Thank you Jonathan, I love my car. More

We went to Christopher's to purchase a new 2012 Ram 1500. We had to have special financing, which they knew upfront. When we originally went in the salesman, Doug Parker, was very helpful. He worked with We had to have special financing, which they knew upfront. When we originally went in the salesman, Doug Parker, was very helpful. He worked with us to get all of the initial info needed. Unfortunately, our experience was not that great. My husband was there on Friday to talk to them about the trucks and when we emailed them back to go look at vehicles, we had seen one online that was listed as new and so we asked to see that one. They called back the next morning (Saturday) and said that one was available and that we could come look at it. So we went up that day to see it. When we got there, we were told that it had a few miles on it because it had been the manager's son's demo vehicle. He had been driving it for a while. We asked how many miles it had and it had 4,900 miles on it. More that just a few!! We decided to look at it anyway. It had scratches and dents. The interior had scratches and the seatbelts had some damage. It looked worse than the one we were trading in which was 5 years old. Needless to say, we did not take that vehicle. Doug worked with us and we found another one that worked out. So, went and signed everything and waited for it to be detailed. It took them a while to detail it and they did a horrible job detailing it. When we got home, it took over an hour to get all the tape residue off all four windows, the center console, the chrome decals, the black rubber around the windows had stuff all over it. The engine bay was covered in stuff, never once cleaned. (This wasn't a huge deal, but you do expect your "new" truck to look clean). We got home and realized that they never even put the temporary sticker in. So we had to drive back to the dealership to have that put in. Then we got a call a week later that they did not have my husband sign something. So we had to go all the way back up there again to have him sign it. Then we got a call two weeks after purchasing the vehicle saying that we needed to go back up again and fill everything out again adding both of us to the loan. Originally, it was just my husband on there because the special finance people said that I should not be on there since I had only been at my job for a month. They said that we had to go back up and resign everything adding me on because they said the company financing us wanted me on there too. When we purchased the vehicle we were told it could be just my husband on it and we were also told that we would hear from the company financing it that next week. But they did not even realize that my husband had not signed that paper until a week later and then it took them another week to realize that I needed to be added to the loan. After all of this, we were told that we should hear from them by the middle of the next week. When we still hadn't heard anything, we contacted them back. The gentleman in special financing, Bob, told us that they wouldn't have even sent the stuff until that Tuesday (the day we were told we should have heard from them). So I am not sure what happened. We went in on Friday and we were told they would contact us by Tuesday of the next week, then we were told that they would not have even sent the stuff until then. So we waited a few more days and still had not heard. I decided to contact the company financing the vehicle myself and they said that they had just received the stuff by fax on Friday, a week after we went in to resign and 3 days after we were told it was finally sent. The company doing the financing said that someone would contact us back that afternoon. We never heard anything so I called again on Monday and was told by the company doing the financing that they had sent the stuff back to the dealership. So I called to speak with the financing manager, Tim, and he did not answer so I spoke with Doug Parker. He went to find out what had happened. The company doing the financing had sent it back because they did not get something they needed from the dealership. The dealership did not call us to tell us they needed it, I only found out because I had called them. I was given the name and phone number of the funder and was told that I could contact them directly so that I could send them what they needed. I did this and I got everything straightened out. I spent over an hour and a half on the phone trying to get it all figured out. Doug Parker was very helpful during most of our troubles. Unfortunately, this has been a huge stress on us. It took over 3 weeks from the time we originally got the vehicle until we finally had the financing. We were told by Christopher's that we would have nothing but trouble if we dealt with another dealership that we had contacted first. They said the whole loan and process would be difficult through the other dealership. That is why we decided to go to Christopher's which, unfortunately, turned out to be nothing but problems. It was frustrating to be told over and over that things would be completed by a certain date and when that date came it still was not taken care of. When we decide to buy another truck to replace our old Dakota, I don't think it will come from Christopher's. More
I am writing this to thank the Sales department, specifically the salesman that aided me in the purchase of my car; John Chapman. Thank you for all of your assistance, you made the nightmare of car specifically the salesman that aided me in the purchase of my car; John Chapman. Thank you for all of your assistance, you made the nightmare of car buying tolerable. On another note, I am also voicing a complaint. There is a stark difference in the level of customer service between Sales and Service. Though the Sales department has obvious motivation, as their paychecks depend on the sale of cars, the Service department lacks. Service, the word alone describes what their role is. As a recent purchaser (within 7 days) I find my treatment unacceptable. Although my new (used but new to me) car is under warranty, I should not be put on a back burner because it is under warranty. Oil leaks can be serious, and Mitsubishi will not cover damage due to failure to get service. So, we come back to "Service". I have a one year old car, well within warranty, which was purchased within the past week. I find it off putting to be told "No, I'm sorry we cannot look at the problem today, nor tomorrow. We can get you in on Monday." I have advised Jason the ASM, that Monday does not work. I have a job, for which I must provide service at and arriving late is poor service. I also have a child whom cannot miss school nor be late. I should not have to reorganize, cancel appointments and scramble to find rides for something simple that should be addressed immediately. I have called other dealerships who have advised me, because of the warranty I need to have it serviced at the dealership of purchase. For warranty reasons I understand, they however did say, should in the future I continue to receive poor Service, they would be glad to step in and give me the service I am entitled to. This is a promise, I will give my business to another dealership service center. My money and time will be given to those who are willing to make it right. I hope that this letter is forwarded on to the correct individual who can address these issues. More
