Scotty is a straight shooter and he truly cares about his customer. His method is a true and encouraging example of customer-oriented selling at its best. He begins with an analysis of needs, desires, and "nice-to-haves", then presents options. Though you may qualify for a much more expensive option, he presents you with options that he feels would best serve you. My wife and I hit hard times and filed for bankruptcy. I had seen a lot on the special finance at Christopher's Dodge and called in. I talked to Tim Wilkins and told him that I needed to get a couple of ca had seen a lot on the special finance at Christopher's Dodge and called in. We were on the phone with him for about an hour between my wife and I and he said with their Guaranteed Approval he could do two reasonable cars and if we got our Chapter 7 filed he could eliminate all but 500 dollars of down payment. I thought that sounded great and we went in there a week later. Tim had gotten promoted and passed us off to Chad Bechtel. Chad seemed pretty cool and non typical as far as selling cars. We were in there for about 4 hours. My issue was that we needed two cars, they said they had an approval and all he showed me was cars that were 20k and not what i was looking for. At 23 grand with 21 percent interest the payment was 600 bucks a month and that to me is ridiculous when you have 400 cars on the lot. Anyway, Chad said they were working on the other deal and it got denied because of an error in my bankruptcy filing. We passed on this ridiculous priced car and left. It was clear that they were trying to take advantage of our situation. I got a call back from Chad on Monday and was told his bank no longer wanted to work with me and it was the end of the road. IT was a huge waste of time for a few reasons. Number one, We were talking low mileage used cars to start with and spending 28-30k on them combined, not 23k on one. Number two, I was GUARANTEED credit and then denied even after i faxed documentation from my attorney that it was an error that cause the problem. Chad had called me back and said to give them the document from my attorney and that should clear it all up and that didn't help. It was a waste of my lawyer's time as well. Finally number three... I didn't like being pressured to take the one vehicle that day and not be able to budget for the other. They wouldn't even ever talk about the other deal and I needed to know what i'd be looking at for a budget since i don't want to end up in a bad financial way ever again. HE was pushing so hard on this $600 car that i should buy and not my situation in general or the fact i didn't want to leave there 50 grand in debt. They also had this same model of dodge on the lot that didn't have as many options for 7 grand less and not many more miles on it. This story ended happy for me though! I went to JFR and associates and left there with 25k worth of cars at a much better interest rate and I am a happy guy. Chad called back a few days later, but I told them I was done dealing with them and had found someone to help me. I was worried about the financing because of that error in my court papers, but the bank JFR deals with saw it right away and didn't hold it against me. IT truly wasn't my fault anyway. Christopher's Dodge needs to not be writing guarantees if they can't stick to them. It was a complete waste of a Saturday for me. They were nice friendly guys over there, but that stops mattering when they can't deliver on their promises. It was a blessing though for my wife and I. We are in two nice, newer, and not as expensive cars(2008 fusion 40k miles and 2008 Sonata 40k miles) and feeling very good about the interest rates on them. If you have credit issues, don't waste your time with these guys. They can't even get done half of what they promise and as you can tell by my story, it could be done. More

My husband and I went to look at a truck with the intention of asking for Scotty because we read good reviews about him. We didn’t have to ask for him because he was the one that met us in the lot. We weren’t sure we were going to buy a truck that day and Scotty wasn’t pushy at all. He gave us plenty of time to talk about the offer he made us, which was WAY too good to turn down. We did buy a new truck that day but if we hadn’t we would have gone back to Scotty when we were ready. If you want to have a no pressure, good experience buying a car or truck, ask for Scotty and if he’s busy wait for him. It will be worth it. Scotty ROCKS! Freddy was also awesome. When the salesman turns you over to the finance guy things can sometimes change, Freddy was just laid back and friendly as Scotty. There was no pressure to add this or that to the purchase, he gave us our options and let us talk it out without feeling pressured to buy extra warranties. He also made us a deal that was too good to turn down by getting us a lower interest rate. I haven’t ever had such an easy experience buying a vehicle. More
