I came to Morries trying to find a new/used vehicle. Christopher Dunn came out and met me right away. I told him what I needed and we test drove a CX9. It was a very nice car. Christopher was more than a car salesman, he did not try and force me to get the cx9. While we were waiting for the application, he talked to me about things he likes to do and things I like to do. There was never any pressure to buy a car. He said that if they did not have one that fit my needs we will part as friends. I am very excited to be able to get a brand new mazda 5. This will fit my needs perfectly. The whole sales staff was very professional and friendly. I will definitely recommed Morries to friends that are in need of a new/use vehicle. Nobody was too pushy while looking at the vehicles and was greated by everyone that we walked by but in a very friendly manner. The overall experience with the sales department was good. At times the whole “buy happy” business seemed a little plastic. The finance department gets a big fat –F. When I went to this dealer I was pre-approved through a local bank with a APR of 4.2%. I made it very clear when I went in. The sales manager insisted they could do better than that and did not listen regarding the fact I already had financing lined up. Once it came time to sign paperwork the Finance manager told me they sent an application to the bank I said I was pre-approved at and it was denied. Today I contacted the bank I was working with and they said they never received anything from Morries Mazda. I feel like I have been lied to and taken advantage of. I am now stuck with a APR of 15.9% and having to go through the headache of refinancing this vehicle with the bank that I originally wanted. I really got the feeling these guys are more interested in there own benefit V.S. the benefit of their customers. I highly doubt I will ever return to the dealership again. I am Very un-happy with how things were handled. More
