I have bought used cars from various dealerships over the past 6 years (since age 16) and this is by far my most favorite visit so far. I started working with Daniel Sonsalla back in January when I found a cool car but passed on it. I did a TON of research on the Scion XB second generation model and when I saw that they had just got one in on trade I hurried over there to test drive it. James the managers brother was the one who traded it in so it made me have peace of mind knowing somewhat who drove it and where it came from. I ended up working with Scott as I forgot Daniels' name (sorry again Dan), and Scott made me feel like a person at a dealership. He listened a lot while I babbled and while we were on the test drive, we barely even talked about the car which made me extremely comfortable that he felt no need to push it on me. We would step outside and chat "man to man" and I would tell him my concerns and he listened(not heard, which is a big difference). The windshield was cracked and the car needed body work. I purchased the car on Wednesday and they had the windshield and body work done by Friday at noon! I rated the price of the car as good, because even though the price was excellent for the area, everyone always overpays for cars at dealerships, and I rated the overall experience as good because when working with the financing, I felt somewhat pressured to get the warranty, which I cancelled the following day and thankfully Loren acted very respectful of my wishes when I explained why I didn't want it. I really appreciated that Dan and Scott were able to split the numbers and both act extremely professional as far as I could tell. I told Dan and Scott that I plan on coming back to replace my girlfriends car within the next year or two and I can't wait to work with them again. When I was going to take off with the car, Dan asked if he could get a picture of us next to the car, and I thought that was extremely cool as I could tell how much pride he takes in his customer service!!! I know I was about as annoying of a buyer as could possibly come through the door, but they took everything I threw at them and made me feel great about the purchase in the end. I can't wait to enjoy my new old car and hopefully see everyone at morries again soon. More
Morries was the second dealer we stopped at, I have a difficult time making up my mind, they did not pressure me to much when I said I wanted to look at other lots before I bought. I came to Morries not even looking to buy a car but just to look. Dan came out and showed me the Toyota Tacoma I was looking at and he explained everything extremely well. The experience was good. I did not feel pressured or made to feel like they had to sell the vehicle I purchased. Chris listened to my wants and catered to those needs. All in All felt very positive about the purchase, I haven't done some of the perks of free vehicle washes or the oil changes yet, so hopefully that doesn't turn to be more of a hassle then a blessing. I had a great experience at Morrie's Mazda in Lake Hallie. We were looking for a second used car at a reasonable price. We did our research and decided to look at and test drive a car at Morrie's. When we arrived we were greeted by Austin who explained the no negotiating price policy they have. In addition, he explained that they are not paid on commission. We test drove a car but ended up buying a different car. It was in our price range and was in very good condition. Five minutes after I drove it off the lot the engine light came on. I called Morrie's immediately and talked to Todd. I told him what happened and he told me to bring the car in right away Monday morning (this occurred Saturday evening). I brought the car in and received a phone call from Todd later in the day. He stated that there was a bad sensor and they would replace it at no charge to me (it was a $300 repair). Although he could have told me I was responsible for paying for the repair, Morrie's assumed full responsibility. I appreciated how Todd and Austin showed integrity by the way they handled my situation. It easy for a car dealer to say they have integrity and it is quite another thing to actually show it. I will definitely go back to Morrie's when it comes time to buy a car for my college age daughter! More
