When I first signed my lease in 2019, I arrived at 11 am and because I was waiting for the finance department we left at 10 pm with the deal already made early in the visit. I went back to buy out both car and because I was waiting for the finance department we left at 10 pm with the deal already made early in the visit. I went back to buy out both cars 3 years later, arrived at 5 and left at 11 pm. Same situation as 3 years ago. Nothing has changed. When they presented my numbers, they presented me with the buy out price 4K higher than what my contract stated. Added so much fees and the certification cost of the car which made the total back to the cars original price. I brought the contract up to the sales guy. He went back and told their managers. They brought the price down and still added a so called buy out fee that was never mentioned on the contract nor when I purchased the lease. Don’t trust what they say. They saw my income and my good credit score and I feel they wanted to get more out of me. I caught errors in their numbers 5 times even in the taxes. They did not look up my contract at all and gave me a bunch of excuses about so many fees they charged. Every time I called and asked about the process they said no added fees but at the end they get you. Did not eat dinner. Horrible horrible experience both times. The only good experience I ever had there was working with Bill from service. Awesome guy! Unfortunately will not go back again. More
I took my car into the dealership with 3 problems. Battery most likely needed replacement since I had to have it charged after sitting for 2 weeks (and it was almost 5 years old), the car kept locking Battery most likely needed replacement since I had to have it charged after sitting for 2 weeks (and it was almost 5 years old), the car kept locking itself automatically with the key fab in it and my USB charger stopped working and most likely just needed a fuse replaced. I was also having problems with my phone disconnecting most every call I am on. They were going to charge me $319 to run a test for the battery and fob AND $319 to test for the USB not working. They only ran a test for the batter which came back negative, so I paid $569 to have my battery replaced and still don’t have a working USB. There aren’t any other places that charge to test the battery. So bottom line is that I walked out of there with a new battery, phone still disconnects, USB charger still doesn’t work, I received a Costo 15% discount and paid $611. And they stole my $38 Wisconsin State Park Parking Pass. It’s unconscionable that they would charge this much money for a diagnosis. I had gone to 2 other locations for a battery and they happened to be out of stock. Neither charged a diagnosis fee and only charged $30 to install the battery. And the batteries range from $150-$189 was the highest. I expect to pay a little more at the dealer than a private mechanic, but Toyota has it so that you have to go through them for electric diagnosis. They locked out everyone else. I assumed the problems were all linked together, which is why I took it to them. I was wrong and will NEVER go back to this dealer again. Even their neighbor dealership only a few miles away was much cheaper. I called them to check. The staff was friendly, as they were ripping me off and making excuses for why they charge so much. More
Highly Recommend Toyota Northside if you need a car in this crazy market! I was greeted by my saleswoman Bebe and felt at ease from the moment we started looking at cars. She was kind, personable, and gen this crazy market! I was greeted by my saleswoman Bebe and felt at ease from the moment we started looking at cars. She was kind, personable, and genuine. Tegan the GM was amazing as well. I also worked with Sales Manager Evan and Benson in Finance. Let me just say I was not the easiest customer. I had a budget, far from pristine credit, and my eyes set on 1 make and model ONLY. They all worked hard to get me in my desired SUV. Negotiations were fair…No games, no gimmicks, no schemes. I have been researching and been on the hunt for the perfect car for over a month. No dealership has been as direct, honest, and as friendly as Northside Toyota. They are straight shooters who care about the customer as much as they care about their bottom line. I’m a loyal customer and will be making many referrals to this location! More
FRAUD WITH A SMILE; salesman doubled my income, lied about educational history and even employment history worked with mo jasim, at first it was smooth until months later i realized how he lied and i about educational history and even employment history worked with mo jasim, at first it was smooth until months later i realized how he lied and inflated my application details that i told him in order to get me approved for a car and take my downpayment. I told him all of my personal details to see if i could get approved for a vehicle. The salesman, Mo, decided that wasne enough and proceeded inflate my income 2x, and decided i graduated from university all without my knowledge!!! totally lied on my application This led me to get approved for a loan that i should NEVER have been approved for. using this approval he was able to create a false reality where i would be able to afford this truck. A consumer and customer should NEVER have to worry about a company or salesman taking advantage of them, lying, and entering or doing anything other than what have been said. That is extremely immoral and unethical, not to mention ILLEGAL! the salesman worked direcelty with the sales manager to deal with my application, How he was able to push those lies and proceed to get it apporved bewilders me. That should NEVER happen. Not a single person checked my details. You walk in dealerships expecting and are then assured you will be taken care of and this was NOT the case. More

worked will with Selmir.. agreed to price (i didn't negotiate very much).. was told that I had to put 2500 non-refundable down (delivery in 2-3 weeks).. agreed to that.. Selmir came back to me and said negotiate very much).. was told that I had to put 2500 non-refundable down (delivery in 2-3 weeks).. agreed to that.. Selmir came back to me and said that after speaking with managers, I now had to pay the entire price to reserve the car. Negotiated upwards! Manager called me to explain and I refused to listen after I explained that they stick to their offer or we're done... They changed terms at least minute. canceled deal More

I drove from Orland Park to the Chicago Northside Toyota dealership (located at 6042 N. Western Ave, Chicago, IL) to purchase a Camry Hybrid through the Costco Auto Program. I was excited to receive the Cos dealership (located at 6042 N. Western Ave, Chicago, IL) to purchase a Camry Hybrid through the Costco Auto Program. I was excited to receive the Costco member savings and the manufacturer’s rebate as advertised. When I arrived at the dealership, I was in for a huge surprise. The Costco Price sheet included an additional cost of $3,495 above the sticker price for “Dealer Installed Items”. This completely offset both the Costco member discount and the manufacturer’s rebate. The so called “Dealer Installed Items” turned out to be an Appearance and Rust Protection Package for 5-years. Nothing was installed by the dealer. Any dealer added options added to a vehicle should be listed on the vehicle's addendum sticker. They were not. This was simply a scam to make me pay for work performed by the manufacturer and to raise the price of the vehicle at or above sticker price. In addition this dealer charged an additional $299 for VIN etch. All of these items should be optional, however, this dealership would not sell the car without purchasing these options. I was able to negotiate the cost of the imaginary “Dealer Installed Items” from $3,495 to $1,295. However, I subsequently noticed on the final paperwork that they had reduced the Costco discount by $1,000 from the original price sheet without telling me. I did purchase the car because I desperately needed one. This was the most unpleasant experience in my life. The sales person at the dealership was very polite and willing to help, however, two of the three managers I spoke with were rude and lying about these Dealer Installed Items. I will report these scam tactics to Costco and Toyota Corporation so that this dealer is held accountable for their dishonest behavior. More
