Excellent Car Buying Experience My family and I were passing through Chicago, looking at various 2007 Jaguar XKs. The Jag we were buying at Chicago Motor Cars, clearly put us in the low end price point of their many high end exotic vehicle customers. That being said, we were still treated just as important. We had stopped at first into the high end exotic car building by mistake, and to my surprise, we were completely welcomed and trusted to walk freely around all the exotic cars, for as long as we liked. That excellent treatment continued while dealing with Jose. He was genuine, down to earth, and easy going. After we agreed on the purchase, while my wife wrapped things up with the finance dept, Jose could have gone back to the other building. Instead, sensing how much I love exotic cars, he chose to stay and entertain me by taking me around on a tour of all their amazing cars, just for fun. I truly appreciated that. The car was shipped perfectly, without incident. Our mechanic confirmed that it was in excellent working condition, and that we bought a great car. I would definitely recommend Jose and Chicago Motor Cars. More

Used Ford Flex Well I wouldnt buy a used car from them unless you inspect the car in person and accept the flaws before hand. #1 - someone puked in the car and clea Well I wouldnt buy a used car from them unless you inspect the car in person and accept the flaws before hand. #1 - someone puked in the car and cleaned it up OK but lots of puke when u flipped the seat up still in the car #2 - they charged me $250 for paint prep - which wasnt done - plenty of wash scratches everywhere and road tar all over the car - that would have not been there if they actually prepped the car #3 - the interior was FILTHY - dirt and grim everywhere - ceiling to floor - in cup holders and rips in the interior that were not mentioned #4 - I asked about the wheels and tires before I purchased the vehical and they were described as NEW 18" wheels and tires and in fact they were and are VERY pitted and chipping and flaking - they are also 22" wheels and tires which puts me into expensive replacements. #5 the vehical shakes like crazy in the front end - I have not had it checked out to find out the culprit yet but I suspect that it is the out of balance wheels or allignment #6 - the CV axles need replacing soon they click very loudly when you go in reverse - Price was right on this vehical even when you factor in the $1400 in shipping fees that we split - but they made it up by charging me fees for things they did not do. I just think they let someone from the lot use this vehical for several months and did not inspect it when they sold it to me - because even a 2nd class car lot (which I do not believe this operation is or at least they do not represent themselves as) would have let all of these issues go out no problem but I just couldnt believe the condition of the vehical and then charged me for something they didnt do. I waited a month to write this review because I wanted to be fair and honest - and thats just what I wrote. More

If ever I would buy another car, I would greatly recommend Chicago Motor Cars and dealing with Evan. (F what you've heard about them!!!). They are nice people who doesn't put any pressure on no one when buying a car. When I got my ACR, it was exactly what it was described by Evan. It was very fresh and clean. Evan was great and he responded both via email and with a phone call within hours of the submittal. He was great to deal with and very helpful in answering all my questions. I went and made the purchase today and that went absolutely as smooth as possible. Sam quickly took me through all the paperwork and I was out of there and enjoying the new car in no time flat. From a service standpoint, the car was delivered to my house and an additional part (CMC). The car was in great shape and the price was very good. Overall, the experience was very good and the transaction was very fair from a price perspective. Importantly, CMC is brand agnostic as they are carrying quality used cars from a variety of manufacturers so you get more objective feedback regarding which brands are enjoying healthier demand in the used market.
