Chevy Chase Acura

My wife and I went to Chevy Chase Acura on the first day we planned to look for a new car. We were looking at the Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry, and the Acura TSX. We had just come from a Honda dealer where we wondered around for a bit without anyone offering any help. Once we got help, it was from a young kid who couldn't answer the simplest question about the Accord (Does it have front wheel drive?)!! Larry held the door open for us as we arrived and immediately asked us what we were looking for and if he could help. He did it in a very friendly manner -- we felt no pressure at all. When I said we were looking at a TSX or TL, he first went to the TSX to show us the car, without any effort to immediately upsell to the more expensive vehicle. He explained the configurations of the TSX from V-4 to V-6, with or without the Tech/Nav package, letting us settle on the TSX V-4 with Tech Package. He then tried to find us a vehicle that met our specs and color. He let us both take a test drive on local roads and the highway until we were convinced this was the car we wanted. While we were not planning to buy the car that day, he worked with us to give us a deal we could not refuse (when we made a counteroffer, I honestly thought there was no chance they would meet it). They even offered to pay for the last two months of my wife's lease on her Civic. When we stopped by the dealership the next day, Larry and the business manager were available to help answer our questions to our satisfaction. In addition, he followed up with a phone call to both my wife and I on Monday to see how we were enjoying the car. More

Mike gets right down to business and doesn't waste your time trying to sell you vehicles or options that don't interest you. He obviously knows a lot about the vehicles he sells, which isn't entirely common amongst the other dealerships I visited during my search. Mike also takes extra time to inform you about the features of the vehicle you are considering, so you can make an informed decision. The financing process was also painless from beginning to end. He couldn't have been more informed about the ins and outs of Acura's line. He made it an easy decision to select the TL, by highlighting it's improvements in the audio, electronics and safety measures. I also appreciated the amount of time he was able to commit to helping me learn some of the more complex facets of the vehicle, such as the voice activated navigation or the new HDD, great addition to the new TL. All in all, I was most pleased with the treatment and will certainly return to Chevy Chase Acura. More
