My husband and I came in to look for a new car because of our new baby. Tony Cox was extremely helpful and had so much passion for Acura's we fell in love. We knew nothing about the SUV's prior to coming in (admittedly, I just liked the way they looked on the street) and Tony gave us so much information. I can't imagine taking my little one in any other car. We felt no pressure, we even left and looked at other vehicles, he followed up (still no pressure) and just knew, this guy loves these cars genuinly. Anyone who actually cares this much about a product and is not "salesy" is the best sales person in my opinion. Tony and Chevy Chase Acura were amazing. They have fair pricing, knowledgable staff, and great products. When we are ready, my husband is going to trade is car in for an Acura, too! More
We had some really bad experience with their customer service in sales. They did not even reply to my first email (not counting the automatic email sent out by cars.com) asking for some information on th service in sales. They did not even reply to my first email (not counting the automatic email sent out by cars.com) asking for some information on the cars we were interested in. And when we got there to take a look at the cars, we had the test drive but we definitely got this feeling that they were simply trying to rush us out of there as soon as they could. We went to Rosenthal afterwards and got the car we wanted. The level of customer service was night and day. I am actually very very surprised to see the rating of this dealership is this high. Just my personal feedback but i will NEVER deal with them again, no matter for what reasons. More

Worked with Peter Larson to look for a hard-to-find pre-owned Acura TL in a very specific color combo vehicle. Peter was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle we were looking for and took the time pre-owned Acura TL in a very specific color combo vehicle. Peter was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle we were looking for and took the time to answer all of our detailed questions, both on the phone and in person (we live in NC but have family in the Bethesda area). We worked with several dealerships (~10+) along the east coast to find our needle-in-the-haystack vehicle and Peter was the most probably the most experienced and informed salesperson. While we ultimately didn't buy our pre-owned TL from Chevy Chase (as we found the vehicle at another dealership), I would highly recommend working with Peter if you're going to Chevy Chase Acura. On a Tuesday night, I sent out quote requests from 3 local Acura dealers. Larry was the first to respond via email and phone the next morning. He emailed me a brochure with a great price. The other 2 dealers were slower to contact me and wanted a lot more for the same model. On Thursday I went in for a test drive (Acura TL SH-AWD w/ Tech package.) After showing me the vehicles that were available, I picked one to drive and Larry encouraged me to take it out on the highway. Before leaving for the test drive he showed me a few things on the car and how they worked. During the drive he answered any questions I had. Once we got back, doing the rest of the deal was the easiest deal I have ever done at a dealership in the 20 years I have been buying cars. They offered me close to what I wanted for the trade-in. I didn't have to go through any kind of marathon negotiation session like I have on past cars. None of the usual dealer stuff of hidden fees or added surprises when I got to the finance office either. Joe in finance got me taken care of in what has to be record time for any car I have financed. Once the deal was done, Larry got into the car with me and paired my cell phone with the car;s Bluetooth, imported the phone book, added my house to the navigation and went over how to use everything. Total time at the dealership was 3.5 hours and that was including them sending the car for a full detailing of the exterior and interior. I have negotiated alone for more than 3.5 hours in the past. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Larry and Chevy Chase Acura. More
Chevy Chase Acura's response to my initial internet inquiry was lightning fast and followed up almost immediately with a phone call from Mr. Larson. I chose not to respond to the phone call, but rather by email, and liked very much that Mr. Larson was amenable to that rather than pressuring me to talk with him on the phone or come in. I also liked the fact that when we did eventually talk on the phone he was straight-forward and didn't try to waste my time. For example, although he initially indicated that he "might" be able to match the best price I had received from another dealer if I came in to talk, before that actually occurred he called back to say that he had already confirmed with his manager that he could. It was nice to know I wasn't going to make a wasted trip. Also, when after I arrived it turned out that the dealership did not have the exact car I wanted to buy, he did not put excessive pressure on me to take something else. Instead, he made the extra effort to work with the sales manager and find the car I wanted. I had to wait for its delivery, but it was totally worth it. He was also extremely thorough and helpful in going through all the details of the sale and the features of the car on delivery day. I also worked with a financing representative who was very professional and courteous. Unfortunately, I do not remember and cannot read her name on the loan papers, but I was also very satisfied with that experience. More

Mr. Larson was very prompt in answering all of my questions either email, phone or in person. He devoted his attention to me and not others while assisting me. He was most thorough in processing the paper work and took much time to orient me to the cars features and provided performance tips. He had a friendly yet professional approach and was not pushy nor did he try to press me to make a decision before I was ready. The overall experience was very good in that the showroom was comfortable, clean and not noisy with employees talking loudly across the room. Financing aspect (paperwork) was accomplished quickly and efficiently. I was explained the various options (accessories, added warranty etc) but not pushed into taking. Only suggestion would be for dealership to computerize credit application, sales contract etc rather than having salesperson spend his time writing it all down. This could all then flow to financing so those forms (some already gathered customer data) would not have to be written down again then keyed to computer. Pricing was good; I would buy from dealership again. I would buy here again. More
