Absolutely horrific experience dealing with General Manager, Courtney Cohen and Sales person, Kari. Was told by Courtney the car was in excellent condition but when I arrived there found the seats to Manager, Courtney Cohen and Sales person, Kari. Was told by Courtney the car was in excellent condition but when I arrived there found the seats to be extremely worn. I was walking away from the deal but Kari recommended I use their leather representative to have the seats redone. We agreed on all pricing for vehicle and extras and I gave a deposit they asked for, signed paperwork, and was given a “We Owe” for the seats. The deal was finalized and I provided them with my license plate so the could transfer tags. I received a call later in the week from Kari asking for full payment of the 48K even though she told me that they had not yet completed the work that I was paying for and had not even started the new leather seats that I was paying for. I told her I was not comfortable with this, but would gladly increase the deposit. She said she would get back to me. Later that day I received a call from the Finance representative asking for full payment. I repeated to her what I told Kari and she totally agreed with me that she would not pay in full for something that is not completed and site unseen. She further told me that Kari was just trying to get credit for the deal in the month of August and that she would get back to me. The next I heard was a call from the leather representative stating that the car was no longer there for him to do the seats and they had sold the vehicle out from under me without ever even calling me. I never heard from dealership and only heard this from leather rep. Truly an unprofessional dealership as you can see from their Better Business Bureau rating of 1.11/5. DON’T BUY A CAR FROM HERE!! The following is true and accurate. It is a copy of the review I left with Chevrolet. Ordered a Corvette on Nov 1, 2023. From the beginning, the sales manager was informed that I may It is a copy of the review I left with Chevrolet. Ordered a Corvette on Nov 1, 2023. From the beginning, the sales manager was informed that I may seek my own financing and that I was declining the dealer’s packaged add-ons. I was told that as long as they were not paid with a bank draft, wire transfer or cashiers check okay, outside financing was acceptable. The day before delivery I talked to the F&I mgr and informed him that I had obtained my own financing. I was informed then that the dealer had also obtained financing and that I did not have to make a decision then, but I could let him know the next day at delivery. The important fact here is that I was told there was a decision to make. The next day (2/20/24), delivery, I informed the F&I mgr that I wished to use the financing I obtained myself. He left the office and came back with someone, I believe his name was Nick, who told me they would not accept the outside financing. In fact there was no decision for me to make on financing. I was told to accept the dealer arranged financing or walk away from the car that I ordered months before and put a $2000 deposit on. My car was being held hostage, and I was being coerced into a loan I did not want. Walking away was not an option, and the dealer knew this. I had no choice but to agree to the dealer obtained financing. I’m guessing that had I allowed them to install and charge me a ridiculous fee for their useless “package,” the financing would have been less of an issue. They agreed to sell the car at MSRP, I agreed to pay MSRP. I did not agree to purchase paint sealant, door edge guards, and other useless options at an inflated rate. I declined these in November of 2023 when they accepted my deposit. I should add, since the dealer will see this, that I have already refinanced the loan. They should be expecting not to receive payment from the original lender, or to be charged back by the lender if they have already been paid. So in the end, they will not receive any funds from the loan and they lost a real customer who will make it a priority to leave accurate negative reviews wherever and whenever possible. I’m sure they couldn’t care less about my reviews or whether they retain me as a customer, this outcome had to be expected; however, hopefully the financial hit they take will persuade them to not do this to anyone else. I have a feeling it won’t change a thing for them. Lastly, for what it’s worth, my salesman Josh Westfall is a true courteous professional. My experience with him was A+. More
