We walked in knowing what our trade in was worth . They offered us 11k because of a cracked windshield and a crack in the bumper . So we drove 30 mins and was offered 17,500 for our trade! This place is a offered us 11k because of a cracked windshield and a crack in the bumper . So we drove 30 mins and was offered 17,500 for our trade! This place is a total scam. Why would they try to make us go upside down on a used car!!!!!! Please don’t go and think they will be fair ! They knocked 8 grand of of the Kelly blue book price and it was a quote for fair condition!!!! More
I am at a loss for words with my experience at Wayzata Chevrolet. The company as a whole is so focused on making a sale rather than satisfying a customer. I had talked to multiple different salespeople th Chevrolet. The company as a whole is so focused on making a sale rather than satisfying a customer. I had talked to multiple different salespeople that I would be driving 10 hours round trip to come get a specific pickup on the lot and to call me if it would happen to get sold before I had gotten there, so that I could just turn around and go home. 5 hours in, I had arrived and found out they had sold the vehicle right away in the morning and never thought to call me. About an hour after I had left I received a phone call asking if I was still going to come in and look at the vehicle set up for my appointment. I told the salesman it was sold and left it at that. It hadn't been 30 minutes later when another salesman called and asked if I would still be coming in to look at the pickup that evening, not realizing it was already sold either. If I was to describe my experience, it would be just deplorable. I am uncertain how this company can function with such a lack of customer courtesy. More
Worked with Jeramiah. Got a great offer on my 2016 trade in. Super impressed with my new 2021 Silverado. I asked Jeremiah to give me a quote on my trade in, and cost with payments on a new truck. He did it in. Super impressed with my new 2021 Silverado. I asked Jeremiah to give me a quote on my trade in, and cost with payments on a new truck. He did it within hours and it was accurate. A different dealer would not do this for me when requested. Customer service from Jeramiah was excellent. More
Advertised a certain price. I traveled quite a ways based on price and I was dis appointed about the add-ons for a USED car. They added $1100.00 for some car coating protection on a 2010 vehicle which based on price and I was dis appointed about the add-ons for a USED car. They added $1100.00 for some car coating protection on a 2010 vehicle which was not advertised and the description showed a remote starter which was not in the car either. Sales manager showed ZERO remorse!!! Low and behold I walked out after wasting TIME, GAS, MILEAGE and 4 HOURS of my PTO. Chevrolet of Wayzata lost referrals and will not receive a dime. More
We did not have a good experience when we purchased a car in the spring. The vehicle had a significant scratch in the hood, we said the only way we’d buy it is if that was fixed. The salesman Jack said oh ye in the spring. The vehicle had a significant scratch in the hood, we said the only way we’d buy it is if that was fixed. The salesman Jack said oh yeah we’ll fix that up and you won’t even know it was there. That was a lie. My husband took it in a few times spending hours there, it never got fixed. We called multiple times and didn’t get a satisfactory resolve. Even the Manager wasn’t any help. And the buying experience took several hours, we kept telling them we had to go and they were very disrespectful of our hard still off time that we told them over and over again. Don’t waste your time or money with them, they are the typical sleezy lying sales team. More
I purchased a Chrysler Pacifica from their lot 3 days ago. My experience was good at first. The salesman Jack greeted me with ease, I told him the vehicle I was interested in, he pulled it and I took it ago. My experience was good at first. The salesman Jack greeted me with ease, I told him the vehicle I was interested in, he pulled it and I took it for a test drive. The vehicle handled well. Came back and I told him that if he can give me what I was looking for my trade car, than I would buy it. He got me what I was asking for my trade and went to work.....That's where things took a turn. I told Jack that I needed to be out within an hour, he said "no problem!". It took over 2 hours to get me out the door. I was already late to go to work AND the finance guy Kevin was rushing through the paperwork because he had to leave also. And you can also tell the serious level of professionalism (which they have 0) because Kevin kept answering personal phone calls while going through the paperwork with me! I mean seriously? You NEVER answer a personal phone call while dealing with a customer! I felt that it was more important for him to leave than my purchase. On top of it all, the sale price listed on the vehicle isn't what I ended up paying! This dealership likes to add things to their fleet of cars and expect for the customer to pay for them regardless if the customer agrees or not. They added this shadow mark, rust protection and the silver package to the vehicle prior to listing it for sale. Jack (the sales guy) never disclosed to me that this was done, Kevin (the finance guy) mentioned to me, but because everything was going very fast, he didnt explained what that was. I reviewed the paperwork later that night and I noticed that they added $1200.00 worth of add ons to my sale price without my consent! I called the dealership the next day and spoke with Aaron and was told that they add those things to every vehicle and expect us to pay for it. How the xxxx does that make sense? It should be given to the customers for free since the dealership is deciding to add those things on in the first place or at least give your customers the choice, instead of forcing them down our throats! Aside from the fact that this vehicle, even though they claim it was serviced, the oil change meter was not reset, the two car fobs were given to me with low battery AND the tires are about a year or less from becoming completely bold, PLUS I found a dent on the back right side of the vehicle that was NOT fixed and it was poorly painted. It looks horrible! My 4 year old son, would have done a better job at painting it! This vehicle cost $36,000 (if you add the stuff the dealership added behind my back) I understand that this was a used vehicle, but how in the xxxx do you expect your customers to trust you and your judgement if you do shady xxxx like that behind close doors and claim the vehicle is in "good" standards when there is a clear and very visible dent on it! The General Manager Josh is a joke. He starts telling me that on their website, there is a disclaimer stating "this dealership reserves the right to add any and all features and accessories prior to selling the vehicle". I am yet to find said disclaimer. Telling me that I could return the vehicle, but it will cost me $1400.00 alone to return it and they won't return my trade in either. I told him about the oil change meter and he started telling me that Chrysler uses some sort of code to reset the meter. The guy is full of xxxx, because all it took is for ME and 2 minutes to figure out to go into the settings of the vehicle and follow the instructions to reset it. This type of ineptitude is beyond frustrating. Nevertheless, I won't be returning the vehicle, but I sure as xxxx know now, NEVER to do business with that shady xxx dealership again or any of its people and I sure hope that anyone who takes the time to read my review considers staying away from them, because all they'll end up doing is ripping you off. NEW UPDATE! After writing this review, Aaron Johnson calls me because he wants to talk to me about my review, I call him back on 8/23. He tells me that he read my review and that he "truly" wants to remedy my situation and "make me happy" So he asks, "What can we do to make you happy?" We talk about my review and I tell him "If your intentions are real and you are truly wanting to remedy my situation I want new tires and half the money you charged me behind my back" I asked for new tires because the tires that they claimed were "okay", no they are not okay, they are down to their last tread. Aaron, tells me "If I give you what you want, will you take the review down?" I tell him "I won't take it down, but I'll modify it and depending on what you can do, I'll adjust the star rating" He tells me "Let me see what I can do and I will call you back later today" This conversation happened exactly 9 days ago. Aaron or anyone from that dealership NEVER called me back. I have no interest in speaking with any of them at all. My review stands. WORSE DEALERSHIP EVER! More
Was contacted by Napleton Wayzata Chevrolet about a $34.95 oil change offer for my 2017 Traverse. It was changed there 5,000 miles ago. Verified that the special included oil and filter. Went to my app $34.95 oil change offer for my 2017 Traverse. It was changed there 5,000 miles ago. Verified that the special included oil and filter. Went to my appointment and waited for my vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised when it was "done" in about 30 minutes. I always mark filters and tires to make sure they get changed or rotated. When I checked at home, the same filter was on there and the oil looked the same. All I got was a new windshield sticker telling me to change again in 5,000 miles. The $34.95 special is a great deal- for them. I will contact them and hope they make it right. Beware- this is NOT the excellent Village Chev we've known for years. More
Stopped in to buy a new Suburban. 4 Guys leaning on cars told me they had none to sell. Told them I am OK with placing an order and waiting. Not taking orders they told me. OK, See ya later. The next day I told me they had none to sell. Told them I am OK with placing an order and waiting. Not taking orders they told me. OK, See ya later. The next day I searched the Chevrolet website for what I was looking for within a 1000 mile radius. Low and behold, an exact match was on its way to Wayzata Chevrolet. Perfect! Almost. Out of a total of 8 exact matches, every dealer was selling at MSRP, except Wayzata Chevrolet at MSRP plus $5,000. My new Chevrolet dealer is 500 miles from my doorstep. They did pick me up at the airport, gave me a lift to the dealership and I drove away with my new vehicle. Customers are just someone to skin at Wayzata Chevrolet: Beware! I have resubmitted this review because it keeps getting deleted in the Google review. More
Absolutely the worst Dealership and most unethical Sales manager I have ever come across.. STAY FAR AWAY FROM AARON JOHNSON. They will do anything to make extra money even if it screws over their clients. manager I have ever come across.. STAY FAR AWAY FROM AARON JOHNSON. The most repulsive and least ethical Chevrolet dealership I have ever encountered. I own a small business with about 10 cars in the fleet. At one time all bought from Village. Over 10 years ago we had consec I have ever encountered. I own a small business with about 10 cars in the fleet. At one time all bought from Village. Over 10 years ago we had consecutive bad trips thru the service group: promoting and selling things that were not needed. Our relationship was based on trust and they showed they were not trustworthy. That ended it. Recently thought maybe it's time to give them another shot: blew me off in the showroom. Found exactly what I wanted on the Chevy website. Found about 10 exact matches within a 1000 mile radius, and low and behold, one was at Village when the day before when I stopped in they said they did not have any. Problem solved? No way! Ten exact matches within a 1000 miles and every dealership selling at MSRP except one: Village Chev at MSRP + $5,000. They are always on the lookout for a new fat hog to skin: AVOID AT ALL COSTS More
