I telephoned to schedule an oil change plus a transmission flush/filter change. The next day, their automated notification system sent me an email reminder that I was scheduled for a cooling syst transmission flush/filter change. The next day, their automated notification system sent me an email reminder that I was scheduled for a cooling system flush, even though I had wanted a transmission flush. So I had to telephone again to get my order changed from cooling system to transmission flush. I asked the guy how much the transmission flush would cost. He quoted around $400. When I arrived for service at the dealership, they said the transmission service would be over $700. When I asked about the $300 increase, she said it was because of the filter change. I do not like having a service arbitrarily charged without asking me if I want it. I especially do not appreciate or like having the cooling and oil seals replaced for $1400 and then Dodge is replacin without asking me if I want it. The vehicle was in the shop for 3 weeks. I received a call explaining the technician broke an additional part trying to make repairs at the 2 week mark. I received another call 2-3 days before the vehicle was done offering a rental car. The service department waited 2 1/2 weeks before making this offer. I was then told they would provide a discount. When we paid for the repairs we were told “10% is the highest my computer will allow.” We received roughly $100 off a $1700 bill. After all of this, the issue we brought it in for has not been fixed.
